Travelers passing through Miami International Airport (MIA) could soon enjoy a significantly upgraded airport lounge experience.

Plans are moving forward for a new Chase Sapphire Lounge in the airport’s Concourse E, marking another expansion of Chase’s growing premium lounge network.

This is a major win for those who frequently travel through Miami. Here’s everything we know so far.

New Chase Sapphire Lounge at Miami International Airport

Miami International Airport (MIA) is one of the nation’s busiest airports, serving over 55 million passengers in 2025. The airport currently operates more flights to Latin America and the Caribbean than any other U.S. airport.

Despite being one of the busiest airports in the United States, Miami has long been criticized for having a relatively underwhelming lounge landscape compared with other major hubs.

The airport features a few lounges across its several concourses, including multiple American Airlines Admirals Clubs, an American Flagship Lounge, an American Express Centurion Lounge, a British Airways Lounge, and a Turkish Airlines Lounge.

However, plans are in place to add another lounge: a Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club.

The roughly 14,000-square-foot Chase Sapphire Lounge is expected to open in Concourse E — though no exact dates for opening have been announced.

The lounge is expected to feature upscale seating areas, complimentary dining and beverage offerings, freshly prepared made-to-order meals, a full-service bar, high-speed Wi-Fi, business facilities, television viewing areas, dedicated quiet zones, and a range of additional passenger amenities designed to enhance the airport experience.

Chase Sapphire Lounges have quickly earned a reputation as among the best credit card airport lounges in the industry, thanks to their combination of upscale design, high-quality dining, and thoughtful amenities.

Unlike many lounges that rely primarily on buffet food, several Sapphire Lounges offer made-to-order dishes, craft cocktails, locally inspired menus, and wellness features like massages.

Final Thoughts

Plans have been announced for a new Chase Sapphire Lounge in Concourse E at Miami International Airport.

For travelers, the addition of a Chase Sapphire Lounge represents another sign of intensifying competition among credit card companies and airlines to attract premium customers through exclusive airport experiences.
