The Comfort Hotels brand, under Choice Hotels, is getting a new look at a hotel in Missouri.

Let’s take a look.

Comfort’s First “Rise & Shine” Property Now Open

The Comfort Inn & Suites in Mountain Grove, Missouri, is the first “Rise & Shine” prototype — a new design for guests of all ages.

Choice Hotels says the “Rise & Shine” prototype aims to offer tailored spaces for work, play, socialization, and relaxation for multigenerational travelers. The 56-room hotel offers an outdoor patio, open public spaces, a multi-purpose room, and upgraded room furniture.

This pet-friendly hotel offers an indoor pool, complimentary daily breakfast, laundry services, an EV charging station, and a fitness center.

“Comfort Hotels is thrilled to introduce the Rise & Shine™ prototype with the opening of the Comfort Inn & Suites in Mountain Grove,” said Cathy Hartman, Vice President of Brand Strategy at Choice Hotels. “It’s a reflection of our ongoing commitment to enhancing guest experiences and ensuring that families and travelers of all ages can create cherished memories at Comfort Hotels.”

Bottom Line:

Comfort — which is comprised of Comfort Inn, Comfort Inn & Suites, and Comfort Suites — is one of Choice’s largest brands, with more than 2,000 properties worldwide.

The Comfort Inn & Suites Mountain Grove is now open for guests and is part of the Choice Privileges loyalty program. That means you can earn and redeem Choice Privileges points during your stay.

Award nights start at a modest 12,000 Choice Privileges points per night, or $84 if paying cash rates.

Choice points are incredibly easy to earn. The hotel chain offers 2 co-branded credit cards with fairly generous welcome bonuses. You can also transfer Amex Membership Rewards points or Capital One miles to Choice Privileges at a ratio of 1:1 and Citi ThankYou Points at a 1:2 ratio.

Choice is one of the world’s largest hotel chains. The chain offers nearly 7,500 hotels across 22 brands in 46 countries and territories across the globe.

While Choice has its fair share of mid-market and extended-stay hotel brands, the chain also has several high-end offerings like the Ascend Hotel Collection and Radisson Rewards Americas for travelers looking for a more luxurious stay.

Final Thoughts

Choice is giving some of its newest Comfort hotels a new look with the “Rise & Shine” design, aimed at families of all ages. For multigenerational travelers looking for an affordable hotel on points or cash in the Midwest, the Comfort Inn & Suites Mountain Grove is a fantastic option!
