Attention business class enthusiasts! You won’t believe the deal we’ve found: Washington, D.C. to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, round-trip with Saudia in business class for less than $2,500. This flight has a layover in Jeddah (JED) — the perfect excuse (or opportunity) to stop in at the incredible Saudia Alfursan Golden Lounge.

Read on to lock in this incredible price before it’s gone!

Fare Deal — Details

You’ll find flights available at this price from January 2024 to May 2024. You’ll be starting from Washington, D.C. (IAD) and flying to Bole Addis Ababa International Airport (ADD), with a layover in Jeddah (JED). This is no ordinary layover, however. Make a pit stop in the Saudia Alfursan Golden Lounge — the airline’s flagship lounge. The huge space features a full pizzeria, a cigar lounge (for an additional fee), and the cutest little robot waiters you’ve ever seen.

The icing on this already delicious cake? You’ll be flying in luxury in lie-flat seats on a combination of Saudia’s Boeing 777 and Airbus A330 aircraft. We tried the product out for ourselves and enjoyed it quite a bit. Put on your complimentary slippers and enjoy the flight knowing you’re saving in excess of $1,000 when compared to typical fares on this route.

  • Class: Business
  • Routes: Washington, D.C. (IAD) to Addis Ababa (ADD)
  • Dates: January 2024 to May 2024
  • Rates: From $2,404 round-trip

There’s good availability throughout the first 5 months of 2024, including this option in March:

You’ll want to use the Google Flights calendar to search for dates that work for you. Note that the calendar shows rates for booking directly; using an online travel agency (OTA) knocks the cost down to $2,404:

Best Ways To Book

When you’re ready to book, head to Google Flights to compare prices. OTAs for this booking are significantly cheaper than booking directly, though this runs the risk of dealing with a third party if you need to change your flight for any reason.

Still, we recommend using a card such as the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, which offers 3x Ultimate Rewards on all travel purchases and excellent travel insurance.

Though normally a favorite of ours, The Platinum Card® from American Express only offers 1x Membership Rewards when booking through an OTA.

We know you love luxury travel as much as we do, so we keep hunting for deals just like this. If you’re ready to explore one of Africa’s most alluring countries — and do so in style — don’t hesitate to book your tickets at this great price!
