It’s not every day that we see cheap premium economy deals from the U.S. to Asia, but a new deal caught our eye.

We’re seeing premium economy flights from the West Coast to Hong Kong for as low as $1,236 round-trip. Here’s what you need to know.

Fare Deal — Details

There are dirt-cheap deals to Hong Kong (HKG) right now. We’ve spotted incredibly cheap deals from Los Angeles (LAX) on ANA and United Airlines. However, several other West Coast cities are available starting at $1,600 round-trip on airlines including Air Canada, EVA Air, and Starlux Airlines.

Play with dates on Google Flights and book directly with the airline or an online travel agency (OTA) like Expedia. Keep in mind that you may find cheaper flights on less-reputable OTAs, but if you want more peace of mind in case your plans change, you should book with a well-known website.

ANA and Starlux are probably the best options for premium economy flights to Asia. ANA uses its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft for the hop across the Pacific. Premium economy on this jet is arranged in a 2-3-2 configuration with a 38-inch seat pitch. All premium economy tickets come with enhanced dining, an amenity kit, and even lounge access.

How To Book

The cheapest deals (under $1,300) are available between May and the beginning of July. However, there’s widespread availability throughout the year starting at around $1,660 round-trip, which is still a pretty good deal for a premium economy flight to Asia.

If you planned your trip around late May, you might be able to catch the annual Dragon Boat Festival, which takes place all across the city.
