Update:

The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

If you’ve been itching for some samba and caipirinhas, you don’t want to miss this deal.

We found round-trip fares to Brazil in lie-flat business class seats for less than what you’ll sometimes find economy fares for…including dates over Carnival 2025!

The fares depart from Miami (MIA) and New York (JFK) and take you to the always beautiful beachfront cities of Fortaleza and Rio de Janeiro.

Fare Deal – Details

You can find these crazy good fares with Google Flights and your best options for lie-flat seats are going to be with Copa and LATAM.

Copa is the cheapest option, but you’ll have to stop in Panama City (PTY) to change planes before flying to Rio. Although the airline isn’t known for its premium offerings, its new Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft features lie-flat Dreams business class seats and will operate on the PTY-GIG leg, which is very comfortable.

LATAM is slightly more expensive but will fly you nonstop from Miami to Fortaleza.

  • Class: Business class
  • Routes: Miami (MIA) and New York (JFK) to Fortaleza (FOR) and Rio de Janeiro (GIG)
  • Dates: September 2024 to May 2025
  • Rates: From just $1,595 round-trip

The cheapest fares are to The Marvelous City, Rio de Janeiro — including dates for Carnival.

And it’s just under $100 more to fly nonstop to Fortaleza.

Using Google Flights‘ calendar is the best way to search for potential dates.

As you can see, availability is wide open right now, but we don’t expect that to last long. So book quickly if you are interested!

Best Ways To Book

We recommend booking these flights directly with Copa and LATAM and using a travel rewards credit card to do so.

A great example is The Platinum Card® from American Express, which earns 5x Membership Rewards points on airfare purchases made directly with the airline (capped at $500,000 spent in purchases per calendar year, then 1x points).

Hot Tip:

Copa Airlines is a member of Star Alliance. This means that if you’re a United frequent flyer (or a frequent flyer with any other Star Alliance member airline), you can earn miles and status points by adding your membership number to your Copa Airlines booking!

Final Thoughts

It’s rare to find a business class deal this good to Brazil. Normally we could try to fly down and back using points and miles, but at this price, paying cash is the way to go.

With wide open availability, including dates over Carnival 2025, now is the time to book!
