Delta Will Launch Austin’s First-Ever Nonstop Flight to Paris

Austin is getting a new nonstop connection to Europe.

Delta Air Lines will launch the city’s first-ever nonstop flight to Paris in spring 2027, marking a major expansion for the airline in the Texas capital. The airline is also adding and expanding several other routes from Austin as part of its broader growth in the city.

Here’s what you need to know about Delta’s latest expansion in Austin.

Delta Connects Austin and Paris With New Nonstop Service

Beginning March 27, 2027, Delta will operate daily seasonal service between Austin (AUS) and Paris (CDG).

The new flight will make Delta the only U.S. airline offering nonstop service between Austin and Europe. This means Central Texas residents will now have a convenient way to reach Paris without connecting through another U.S. gateway.

The Atlanta-based carrier will operate the route during the summer season using an Airbus A330-900neo, featuring 4 cabins: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort, and Delta Main.

Travelers booking Delta One will find fully lie-flat seats with privacy doors, while Delta Premium Select offers wider seats and additional legroom compared to economy.

The route should also make it easier to reach destinations beyond France. Through Delta’s joint venture with Air France and KLM, passengers will be able to connect at Paris to nearly 70 destinations across Europe, India, and Africa.

Combined with existing service to Amsterdam, Delta, Air France, and KLM will offer as many as 10 weekly nonstop flights between Austin and Europe during the peak summer season.

More New and Expanded Routes From Austin

Delta is also making several smaller additions to its 2027 Austin schedule.

A new daily nonstop flight between Austin and San Diego (SAN) will begin April 12, 2027, using an Airbus A319. On the same date, Delta will add a second daily flight between Austin and San Jose (SJC), California, giving travelers more flexibility between the 2 major technology centers.

The airline is also extending its Austin-to-Cancun (CUN) service beyond the winter season. Once the change takes effect, travelers will have a year-round nonstop option between Austin and the popular Mexican vacation destination.

By summer 2027, Delta expects to serve approximately 30 destinations from Austin and operate more than 70 flights on peak travel days. This is on top of the airline’s plans for 2 new lounges in Austin.

How To Book

We checked Delta.com and Google Flights, but could not find the newly announced and expanded Austin routes. That likely means Delta has yet to load the new routes into its system.

When they do become available, you’ll want to have some Delta SkyMiles in your account to book. The easiest ways to earn SkyMiles are by having a co-branded Delta credit card, transferring American Express Membership Rewards or Marriott Bonvoy points, or using the SkyMiles Shopping portal.
