With fuel prices soaring, hunting for summer flight deals to Europe hasn’t been easy lately. But Delta Air Lines just dropped a massive award sale, with one-way flights to select European destinations starting at a record-low 12,000 SkyMiles.

Act fast, as these deals won’t last for long. Here are the routes on sale right now.

Delta Flight Deals to Europe — Details

Last year, Delta Air Lines announced that seasonal summer service would kick off between its New York (JFK) hub and a handful of lesser-served European destinations, including Ibiza (IBZ), Malta (MLA), and Sardinia (OLB).

Among these new routes for summer 2026, Delta’s New York to Malta route is seeing a significant price drop, with deeply discounted award space available across all cabins, including Delta One:

Seasonal service to Malta kicks off on June 7, 2026, with 3 weekly flights. If you’re not based in New York, you can connect from most U.S. airports — even as far as the West Coast — and book these one-way tickets for as little as 17,500 SkyMiles. Here’s an example itinerary we found from Los Angeles (LAX):

While the best deals are to Malta, Delta has also put dozens of European routes on sale across its domestic network, though many itineraries may require a quick one-stop connection. Here are some of the round-trip rates currently available:

  • 46,000 miles in Basic Economy
  • 77,000 miles in Main Cabin
  • 88,000 miles in Comfort+
  • 155,000 miles in Delta Premium Select
  • 280,000 miles in Delta One

For example, you can book a flight from New York (JFK) to Rome (FCO) with a connection in Boston (BOS) for under 40,000 miles round-trip after the cardmember discount is applied.

The easiest way to spot the lowest fares is with the “My dates are flexible” feature, which lets you view pricing by week or even by month.

Hot Tip:

Basic Economy fares have a $99 cancellation fee for domestic flights and $199 for international itineraries (or the equivalent in SkyMiles). These tickets also include only a personal item and a carry-on bag, with seats assigned after check-in. For more flexibility, consider booking a Main Cabin ticket instead.

How To Book

To unlock the best award pricing, you’ll need an eligible Delta credit card (see options below). Once linked to your SkyMiles account, you’ll automatically receive a 15% discount on award flights operated by Delta Air Lines when searching on its website — reflected with the “slash-through” rate.
