A Valentine’s Day promotion is making buying Delta gift cards more lucrative than usual. Until February 17, SkyMiles account holders who buy Delta gift cards worth at least $200 will receive double the amount of SkyMiles.

Here’s what you need to know.

Through February 17, 2025, you can earn 2x bonus miles when you spend $200 or more on a gift card from Delta Air Lines.

If you want to take advantage of the offer, visit promo.giftcards.delta.com. You can choose either an eGift card that can be emailed or shared via link or a physical card for which you can choose several shipping options.

The maximum amount that can be purchased is $2,000, and the promotion does not specify a maximum number of cards that can be purchased. The bonus miles should be added to the Delta SkyMiles account entered during checkout within 30 business days after the promotion end date.

Delta gift cards are non-refundable once purchased but do not expire. You can use them to buy flights without worrying about an expiration date.

That means you can give yourself a card (by selecting the “For Me” option) and keep it in your Delta account to purchase flights at a later date.

Finally, only U.S. residents over the age of 18 qualify for this offer; people residing outside the country are not eligible.

Is It Worth It?

If you were already planning on purchasing Delta gift cards this year, you should absolutely score some extra miles in the process. If you buy a $500 gift card, under this promotion you would earn 1,000 SkyMiles, worth $13 at our valuations.
