Update:

The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

A new National Coffee Day promotion makes buying Delta gift cards more lucrative than usual. From now until October 2, 2024, anyone who buys $150+ in Delta gift cards will also receive a free $10 Starbucks eGift card (while supplies last).

Here’s what you need to know!

Delta Gift Card National Coffee Day Promo

Through October 2, 2024, receive a $10 eGift card to Starbucks after buying $150 or more in Delta gift cards from Delta Air Lines.

If you want to take advantage of the offer, visit promo.giftcards.delta.com. The eGift card will be emailed separately from the Delta gift card and sent to the email address you listed at the time of purchase.

Don’t wait to purchase if you want the gift card, as supplies are limited during the qualifying period. Finally, only U.S. residents over the age of 18 qualify for this offer; those who are overseas are not eligible.

Is It Worth It?

While $10 isn’t much, you can certainly make it last at Starbucks. If you were already planning on purchasing Delta gift cards this year, you should absolutely score some free money in the process. Starbucks also maintains its loyalty program, which you can join for free. Customers can link their Delta SkyMiles and Starbucks Rewards accounts to earn 1 SkyMile for every dollar spent at Starbucks.

If you’re interested in taking advantage of this promotion, make sure you use a card that will earn additional bonus points. Delta gift cards are not processed by the airline, so you’ll want to use a card that will reward you for everyday spending.

Final Thoughts

This is a pretty decent promotion, especially if you were already planning to purchase a Delta Air Lines gift card. While $10 isn’t a ton of money, it can get you a couple of good drinks and even some food at Starbucks if you’re clever.

Either way, don’t wait to take advantage of this promotion. Not only does it expire on October 2, but the promo is capped, so it may be over before that.
