Design Hotels is a member of Marriot Bonvoy, though not all properties fully participate, so you’ll want to be sure you keep a close eye out when you book.

What Is Design Hotels?

Design Hotels manages a unique portfolio of over 300 privately owned and operated hotels across 6 continents and 60+ countries, with a special emphasis on boutique European properties. Around a third of these premium independent properties participate in Marriott Bonvoy.

Exclusive Community Deals at Select Hotels

To get up to 40% off of your next stay with Design Hotels, you need to become a member of the Design Hotels Community, which is completely free. Once you join, you’ll be brought to the deals page where you can browse the 71 hotels that are offering this promotional discount. This sale is valid through December 31, 2022.

To take advantage of this sale, you need to book directly through Design Hotels. Even though many of the properties are affiliated with Marriott Bonvoy, you can’t book directly with Marriott to get these savings. That said, on the Design Hotels website, there is a filter where you can select Available with Marriott Bonvoy to view the 34 participating properties, allowing you to easily figure out which stays will earn Marriott Bonvoy points and which won’t.

When booking a cash rate, make sure to use a Marriott Bonvoy-branded credit card to earn up to 18.5x points per dollar spent on your hotel stay.

Marriott Bonvoy Elite Benefits

Many Marriott Bonvoy elite benefits, including a welcome gift of points, late checkout, internet access, bottles of water, and room upgrades (subject to availability), are available at participating Design Hotels properties.
