Disney is out with its newest promotion, offering discounts to those who book vacation packages. Depending on where you stay, you can save up to $200 per night on your stay — though these top-tier savings are only applicable to Deluxe-level resorts. Let’s take a look at the promotion details and whether it’s worth it to book.

Disney Vacation Package Promotion

This new promotion is valid only on vacation packages, which include both rooms and theme park tickets. To enjoy the savings, you’ll need to stay between February 26 and June 30, 2025.

The amount you’ll save each night will depend on your resort:

  • $200 per night: Deluxe resorts
  • $120 per night: Moderate resorts
  • $60 per night: Value resorts

The promotion states that it’s valid for stays of 3 nights with park tickets for at least 2 days, though it also notes that you may be able to stay longer and score the discount. Also, there’s no end date listed, though the number of packages available is “limited” and may sell out.

Is It Worth It?

Planning a vacation to Walt Disney World can be exorbitantly expensive, even when you book a vacation package. In terms of pricing, it does actually drop the cost down pretty significantly. Here’s an example of a 3-night stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, which is a deluxe resort, next March:

And here’s how much it costs with the promotion:

That’s a nice discount, but there are still some ways you can save money. For example, you can take advantage of another sale that Disney has going on to save 25% on your room rate. This drops the cost of your hotel to just $1,812.75:

You can then buy tickets elsewhere, such as Undercover Tourist, for a discounted rate:

Booking this way drops your total cost to just $2,800, saving you $60 over using Disney’s new promotion.

You can also choose to earn tons of points by buying your Disney tickets via the Citi Travel Portal. If you use your Citi Strata Premier℠ Card to pay, you’ll earn 10x Citi ThankYou Points. Since we value Citi points at 1.6 cents each, this means you’ll be getting 16% back on your tickets!

Hot Tip:

Final Thoughts

This new promotion from Disney saves you up to $200 per night on vacation packages for stays next year. It’s a pretty good discount, but you can save a little more with existing promotions and discounted tickets. You also can choose to earn lots of points on your purchase by buying tickets through the Citi travel portal.

The information regarding the Citi Strata Premier℠ Card was independently collected by Upgraded Points and not provided nor reviewed by the issuer.
