Airline shopping portals are a great way to earn some extra miles on online shopping that you were planning to do anyway.
At times, though, it can be easy to forget to click through a shopping portal first to make sure you earn extra miles. To help make things easier, many airline programs have built a button, which is effectively a browser plugin, that will prompt you to activate the shopping portal when you visit an eligible website.
Now, you can even score some extra miles after downloading one of these buttons and making a purchase. Here are the details!
Get 1,000 Miles With Various Airline Shopping Portals
Through March 26, 2022, you can earn 1,000 miles with 4 different shopping programs just for downloading the program’s shopping portal button and completing a purchase of at least $25. Here are the eligible programs:

How Shopping Portal Buttons Work
Image Credit: SouthwestAfter heading to the page of the program you’re interested in and clicking Get the Button, that program’s button will be downloaded as a plugin for the browser you are using.
Then, each time you visit a website that partners with that shopping portal, you’ll be prompted to activate the shopping portal by the click of a button, instead of having to go through the shopping portal’s website first.
