Emirates is once again bringing Thanksgiving to the sky and airport lounges this year for its U.S. passengers.

If you’re on an Emirates flight between the U.S. and Dubai (DXB) from November 23 through November 30, 2024, you’ll be in for a tasty treat no matter which cabin class you’re flying in.

Thanksgiving will also be celebrated on the ground at Emirates lounges in both the U.S. and Dubai.

Here’s what you can expect from Emirates’ Thanksgiving feast over the coming days.

Emirates Offers Thanksgiving Feasts to Its Inflight Passengers

In honor of one of the most important celebrations of the year for its U.S.-based passengers, Emirates has unveiled carefully curated Thanksgiving menus for passengers on its flights between the U.S. and Dubai over the holiday. This applies to flights from November 23 to November 30, 2024.

Passengers traveling in first, business, or premium economy classes will be served cinnamon pancakes served with seasonal apple and cranberry compote, including pumpkin cream. Passengers also will find complimentary blueberry muffins and cinnamon rolls on board.

Passengers flying in first class from Dubai (DXB) to the U.S. will enjoy creamy celeriac and pear soup with leek julienne plus an appetizer of smoked salmon with chives, cucumber, pea shoots, and horseradish sauce. The main course will be Thanksgiving turkey leg roulade, including roasted butternut, mashed potatoes with carrot, buttered Brussels sprouts, roasted pecans, cranberry jus lié, and cornbread. Dessert includes warm apple fritters with mascarpone cream and cinnamon sugar or key lime tart with raspberry coulis.

First-class passengers flying from the U.S. to Dubai will have a choice of sweet potato soup with poached lobster and chives or a seafood platter appetizer with poached prawn, smoked salmon, crab cocktail, and salmon gravadlax, served with caviar, horseradish, and wakame. For the the main course, customers will enjoy lemon, zaatar, and buttermilk roasted turkey with celeriac apple purée, maple-roasted caraway pumpkin and beetroot, kale with cranberries, and cornbread stuffing. Dessert will be a choice of hot toffee apple and pecan cake covered with salted caramel sauce and marshmallows or chocolate marble cheesecake with berry compote and vanilla curd.

If you’re flying in business class from Dubai to the U.S., the menu changes after the soup. Your next course will be salmon gravadlax with ginger and candied orange, carrot coulis, blackberries, and Beluga caviar, caper berries, red sorrel and baby spinach, plus a main course that includes sliced turkey, cranberry jus lié, roasted butternut, mashed potatoes with carrot, buttered Brussels sprouts, herbed butter, roasted pecans, and cornbread. Passengers in premium economy will receive a prawn cocktail, followed by a grilled artichoke antipasti, butternut squash, broad beans, and kale, plus sunflower seeds and dried cranberries. The meal continues with sliced turkey with all the trimmings, including a dessert of key lime tart dashed with Chantilly cream and raspberry, followed by an Emirates pumpkin spiced biscotti. Flying from the U.S. to Dubai, the main course in premium economy will be buttermilk- and herb-roasted turkey with all the trimmings, and dessert is berry cheesecake. Economy passengers will have sticky toffee pudding for dessert.

Those flying from Dubai to the U.S. in economy will enjoy a Waldorf Salad with vegan mayonnaise to start, followed by a festive roasted chicken with cranberry jus, chestnut roulade with turkey bacon, maple baked parsnips, carrot mash, peas, and potato wedges. Dessert includes pumpkin, apple, and cheese mousse, accompanied by cinnamon cream and ginger biscuit crumbles, followed by an Emirates pumpkin spiced cookie.

If you’re flying on an Emirates Airbus A380 from Dubai to Los Angeles (LAX), New York (JFK), San Francisco (SFO), or Washington, D.C. (IAD), there will be Thanksgiving-themed treats in the onboard lounge. These include pecan cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, and you can wash these down with a selection of premium whiskeys, cocktails, wine, and champagne.

Celebrate the Season in the Emirates Lounges

On the ground, you’ll find Thanksgiving offerings in Emirates’ lounges in New York (JFK), Boston (BOS), Los Angeles (LAX), and San Francisco (SFO) from November 23 to November 30, 2024. Offerings include roasted turkey with apple sage stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes and fall squash pumpkin, and cheesecake mousse for dessert.

If you’re departing from Dubai (DXB), the lounge will offer pumpkin tarts, roasted turkey breast with cranberry sauce, stuffing, glazed chestnuts, new potatoes with rosemary and paprika, roasted root vegetables with Brussels sprouts, and festive cocktails.

Emirates also understands that the NFL and NBA have premium action around Thanksgiving, so Sport24 and Sport24 Extra will offer games from the New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks, Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins, and more on the inflight entertainment systems.
