Emirates is bringing Thanksgiving to the sky this year for its U.S. passengers.
If you’re on an Emirates flight between the U.S. and Dubai (DXB) from November 24 through November 26, 2022, you’ll be in for a tasty treat no matter which cabin class you’re flying in.
Thanksgiving will also be celebrated on the ground at Emirates lounges in both the U.S. and Dubai.
Here’s what you can expect from Emirates’ Thanksgiving feast over the coming days.
Emirates Offers Thanksgiving Feasts to Its Inflight Passengers
In honor of one of the most important celebrations of the year, Emirates has unveiled carefully curated Thanksgiving menus for passengers on its flights between the U.S. and Dubai over the holiday.
Up front in first and business class, passengers will have the option of tucking into a quintessential dish of roast turkey with delicious accompaniments such as mashed yams, paprika broccolini, paprika potato wedges, and honey-glazed pumpkin with crushed pecans, all finished off with a cranberry jus lié. Yum!
Dessert sounds equally as delicious, with first class passengers being offered an indulgently rich chocolate mousse cake with cherry compote and Chantilly cream. And in business, there’ll be a pecan tart topped with passion fruit cream, chocolate sauce, and crème anglaise.
Economy passengers will also get to enjoy a special feast. The meals will include, of course, roast turkey with the same cranberry jus lié as premium cabins, along with a chestnut roulade, green peas, and a mash-up of parsnip and carrots.
As an extra bonus, economy passengers on A380-operated routes between Dubai and Los Angeles (LAX), New York (JFK), San Francisco (SFO), and Washington, D.C. (IAD) will be able to feast on pumpkin cupcakes with buttercream topping, as well as premium whiskeys, cocktails, and Champagne.
In addition to the 4 cities mentioned above, Emirates also flies to the following U.S. destinations: Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD), Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Houston (IAH), Miami (MIA), Newark (EWR), Orlando (MCO), and Seattle (SEA).
In addition to the Thanksgiving theme, passengers heading to the FIFA World Cup in Doha (DOH) via Dubai will be able to keep up with live matches while tucking into their turkey in the air (Team USA takes on England on Friday, November 25th at 2 p.m. EST).
Hot Tip: Emirates is often pitted as one of the best airlines to fly with. Thanks to Skywards, the airline’s frequent flyer program, you can experience all that is Emirates excellence for less by redeeming Skywards miles instead of cash.
Celebrate the Season in the Emirates Lounges
On the ground, eligible passengers departing the U.S. from Boston (BOS), Los Angeles (LAX), New York (JFK), and San Francisco (SFO) will also get to enjoy a Thanksgiving feast in Emirates’ lounges through November 25, 2022.
If you’re departing from Dubai (DXB), a full Thanksgiving dinner will be served in Emirates lounges for the day of Thanksgiving on November 24, 2022.
Final Thoughts
You’re in for a Thanksgiving treat if you’re flying Emirates from the U.S. over the next few days.
Forget the turkey … that chocolate mousse cake looks like all you could possibly need!
