If you want to visit Morocco in 2023, a new deal in premium economy can get you there for as little as $710 round-trip.
Let’s take a look at the deal and some of the best ways to book these tickets!
Fare Deal – Details
You’ll find these deals offered by Spanish carrier Iberia and American Airlines from the U.S. to Marrakech (RAK). The deals are valid from several Oneworld U.S. hubs, including Chicago (ORD), Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW), Miami (MIA), and New York (JFK). Some routes include a long layover in Madrid (MAD) in either direction.
Premium economy is offered on Iberia’s Airbus A330-300 and A350-900 aircraft and includes a blanket, pillow, amenity kit, and 18 to 19 inches of seat width.
This is technically a mixed-itinerary booking, as the flights from Madrid to Marrakech are in economy. However, flights between those 2 cities are only about 2 hours long, and the long-haul segments between the U.S. and Madrid are in premium economy, meaning you’ll have all the extra perks of premium economy on the longer portion of your journey.
Make sure to play around on Google Flights to find the best rates.

Best Ways To Book
There’s wide availability during the first few months of 2023, so you shouldn’t have trouble finding an inexpensive fare. Plug in your preferred dates into Google Flights and then book directly with Iberia. Booking with American costs considerably more, so avoid that option if you’re able to.
If you are booking directly through Iberia, use a card that rewards you for airline purchases, such as The Platinum Card® from American Express and The Business Platinum Card® from American Express. Both of these cards earn 5x Membership Rewards points per $1 spent on these purchases noting that the consumer card’s earning is capped at $500,000 spent in purchases per year.
You can also use a card that rewards you for travel purchases, such as the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, which earns 3x Ultimate Rewards on all travel purchases, the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, which earns 2x points on general travel purchases, or the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, which earns 2x miles on all purchases, including travel (5x miles on flights booked through Capital One Travel).
This is an excellent deal from the U.S. to Morocco, offering a more comfortable ride for the long flight across the Atlantic than regular economy. These types of deals typically don’t last long, so book soon before it’s gone for good!
The information regarding the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card was independently collected by Upgraded Points and not provided nor reviewed by the issuer.
