Frontier Launches 2 New Routes From Raleigh

It’s been an exciting few weeks for low-cost Frontier Airlines, and now there’s more good news to share.

The airline has just announced 2 new routes from Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU).

Promo Fares Start at $59

Frontier announced that it began service between Raleigh-Durham and Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW), effective today, June 16, 2023. Additionally, Frontier will launch nonstop service from RDU to Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) beginning June 18, 2023.

Service between RDU and MDW will be 4x weekly, while RDU-IAH service will be 3x weekly.

“We’re growing fast at Raleigh-Durham,” said Daniel Shurz, Senior Vice President of Commercial at Frontier Airlines. “Those in the greater Raleigh-Durham area now have convenient and affordable travel options to two of America’s largest and most vibrant cities – Chicago and Houston.” 

This news comes during an exciting few weeks for Frontier, which has announced several new routes, such as Orlando to St. Maarten. Additionally, the airline is running 2 promotions dubbed “The Works” and “The Perks,” where travelers can upgrade their tickets to full service for just $99 (or $69 for the cheaper option.)

How To Book

To celebrate, Frontier is offering introductory fares starting at just $59 one-way on both routes when you book by 11:59 p.m. ET on June 23, 2023.

Fares are valid for nonstop travel through August 8, 2023, on select days of the week. Note that the following blackout dates apply: July 3-6, 2023. A seven-day advance purchase is required.
