Frontier Debuts at Paine Field With Nonstop Service to Denver, Las Vegas, and Phoenix

Frontier Airlines has officially launched service from Seattle Paine Field International Airport (PAE), marking the ultra-low-cost carrier’s first-ever operations from Seattle’s popular boutique airport known for its ease of use, upscale amenities, and quick security lines. These routes were originally announced in March, though they didn’t take off until today.

The debut introduces 3 new nonstop routes: Denver International Airport (DEN), Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), and Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas (LAS). Each route will operate twice weekly, with service for all 3 routes beginning today, June 2, 2025.

“We are thrilled to launch our ultra-low cost service at PAE, unlocking more affordable and convenient travel options for consumers in the greater Seattle area and throughout Western Washington,” said Jennifer de la Cruz, senior director of corporate communications at Frontier Airlines.

Until now, Frontier has served the Seattle area exclusively through Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), where it currently offers nonstop flights to 7 destinations. Adding PAE gives travelers in Western Washington a convenient new option for affordable, direct flights to high-demand leisure markets.

With this new airport expansion, Frontier continues its strategy of entering secondary airports to offer its customers increased service and access with a growing national network. To celebrate its Paine Field debut, the airline is offering promotional fares as low as $69 one-way.

All of Frontier’s flights are operated by a fleet of Airbus A320 family aircraft. Flights are available to book now at flyfrontier.com.

Hot Tip:

As a low-cost airline, you don’t get much other than your seat included in the price of a ticket. To make sure its super low fares are for you, check out our full guide on Frontier’s baggage fees.

Final Thoughts

Frontier Airlines’ debut at Seattle Paine Field marks a notable expansion of its route network in the Pacific Northwest. With the addition of nonstop flights to 3 high-traffic destinations — Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Denver — travelers in the region now have an alternative airport option for reaching some of the most popular cities in the western U.S.

The move also reflects Frontier’s continued focus on leveraging smaller, more accessible airports to provide low-cost travel options.
