The new brand will feature fully furnished apartments and is expected to open for bookings in the first half of 2026 through Hilton’s direct channels.

While Hilton already offers extended-stay brands like Homewood Suites and Home2 Suites, Apartment Collection by Hilton is positioned differently. These properties will operate as true apartment-style accommodations within multifamily buildings, rather than being built for hotel use, giving travelers a more residential-style option within Hilton’s portfolio.

The initial rollout will be done in partnership with Placemakr, an established player in the apartment hospitality space. Early locations are expected in major U.S. markets such as New York City, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta, with additional expansion planned over time.

For Hilton loyalists, the good news is the latest addition to the Hilton lineup will operate under the Hilton Honors program, meaning you’ll be able to earn and redeem Hilton Honors points on stays with the Apartment Collection by Hilton.

Hilton’s newest brand is positioned to serve a wide range of travelers — from families needing multiple bedrooms to business travelers on extended assignments, as well as groups that would normally turn to short-term rental platforms such as VRBO and Airbnb.
