Are you aiming for Hilton Honors elite status before the end of the year? Well, the loyalty program has an exciting new promotion you should pay attention to.

Let’s take a look!

Promo Details

Hilton is offering members the chance to earn Hilton Gold status when they stay at least 6 nights at a Hilton property from now through the end of the year. You’ll then keep your status throughout 2024.

Typically, you need 20 stays, 40 nights, or 75,000 Hilton Honors base points to achieve Gold status, but this promotion reduces that number to just 6.

Hilton says to be eligible, you must have received the offer directly from Hilton Honors, be enrolled and active prior to December 31, 2022, register to participate using the same e-mail address associated with the promotional invitation, and complete stay activities within the promotional period.

You can take a look at the promotion and register directly.

Other Ways To Earn Hilton Honors Gold Status

Of course, this isn’t the only way to earn Hilton Honors status, but it is perhaps the easiest, especially without a credit card that offers complimentary status.

If you miss out on this promotion, for whatever reason, earning Hilton Honors Gold status is attainable with the right credit card. The Platinum Card® from American ExpressThe Business Platinum Card® from American Express, the Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card, and The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card receive complimentary Gold status as a benefit.

If you’re unfamiliar, Gold is Hilton’s mid-tier status level. As a Gold member, you’ll receive all the benefits as a Silver member, plus the following perks:

  • Earn 18 points per $1 at most Hilton Properties (9 points per $1 at Tru and Home2)
  • Upgrade to an executive-level room (based on availability)
  • Complimentary breakfast at all hotels
  • Earn milestone bonus points after staying 30+ nights
  • Eligible for an early upgrade 72 hours in advance (suites not included)

Even if you’re not a Hilton loyalist, having elite status is always a huge plus, especially when you factor in benefits like free breakfast (which can be pricey at some resorts and hotels) and complimentary upgrades.

Final Thoughts

Registering for this promotion is a no-brainer, even if you don’t find yourself at Hilton properties often. If you have a handful of hotel stays coming up, it may be worth switching to a Hilton property to take advantage of this promotion if you are targeted!
