Hyatt has unveiled a new marketing campaign for its high-end Alila brand. Part of it is bringing to life a new platform for Alila guests called Alila Moments. According to the chain, these unique experiences provide “enriching, immersive and personalized guest experiences that span culture and community, nature and environmental awareness, creativity, and wellness. “

The platform will bring experiences to all of Alila’s properties worldwide — let’s take a look at the details.

Hyatt Launches Alila Moments Platform

Alila, part of Hyatt’s luxury portfolio, is a brand crafted to allow guests to immerse themselves fully in the destination. It strives to offer peaceful and serene stays with an added focus on wellness.

Alila Moments, a component of the brand’s new “A World Awaits” campaign, is a new experiences platform available for Alila guests looking for a more meaningful, deeper way to explore a destination.

From cultural and environmental immersion, to enriching bespoke experiences and holistic wellbeing, with this campaign, Alila hotels look forward to guests experiencing the worlds of culture, tradition, nature, spirituality, and more, that await them at every corner,” said Katie Johnson, vice president, global brand leader, luxury portfolio, Hyatt.

Alila Moments, available now, are add-ons to stays designed explicitly for each destination. Here are a few examples of what you can purchase:

  • Coldstream Bliss: A Big Sur Ritual — Guests at Alila Ventana Big Sur in California can experience the splendor of Big Sur with a private hike through the redwood forest, complete with breathwork, intention setting, and a cold plunge in a river. The hike starts at $89 per person.
  • Back to the Roots: A Tour of Rajasthan’s Artisanal Heritage — Guests at Alila Fort Bishangarh in India will delve deep into Rajasthan’s history and culture by spending the day with the area’s top artisans. They will have a chance to make their own products, like pottery or bangles, and then enjoy a traditional Ayurvedic massage. The experience starts at around $34 per person.
  • The Spiritual Essence of Bali: A Journey of Ritual, Reflection, and Wonder — Guests at Alila Villas Uluwatu in Bali can spend a full day discovering Balinese culture, starting at around $565 for 2 people, through a sacred cleansing ceremony, crafting, making offerings at the temple, savoring local cuisine, and attending a sunset Kecak performance.

Each Alila Moment comes with an additional fee, and it appears they have to be paid for in cash — no redemptions seem to be available, at least for now.

About Alila Hotels

Alila is a Hyatt brand focused on destination, wellness, and luxury. There are a total of 19 operational properties found in the U.S., China, India, Indonesia, the Maldives, Malaysia, and Oman. The brand will expand to Latin America this year with the opening of Alila Mayakoba in Mexico in late 2025.

As a World of Hyatt brand, members can earn and redeem World of Hyatt points for stays at these properties. Award rates vary significantly by property. For example, the Alila Diwa Goa in India is a Category 3 property, requiring 9,000 points on off-peak nights, 12,000 on standard nights, and 15,000 points on peak nights. However, many Alila properties, including Alila Ventana Big Sur and Alila Villas Uluwatu, are Category 8 properties, requiring 35,000 points on off-peak nights, 40,000 on standard nights, and 45,000 points on peak nights.

Hot Tip:

If you need to boost your points balance, you can earn World of Hyatt points in numerous ways, including opening one of Hyatt’s co-branded credit cards (which comes with Discoverist status) or transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards or Bilt Rewards points.
