Hyatt has just opened its eighth branded property in London.
Let’s take a look!
Hyatt Regency London Albert Embankment Is Now Open
The hotel is in a prime location for business travelers and tourists alike. It’s just a 5-minute walk to Westminster — where you’ll find attractions such as the Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, and Big Ben.
There are 142 guest rooms and suites, and the executive suites with lounge areas and private balconies are located on the 14th floor. A bar and restaurant at the hotel feature North American and British cuisine, while the rooftop restaurant and shisha bar offer Lebanese and Japanese cuisine.
Amenities include 5 meeting rooms with more than 15,000 square feet of event space and a fitness center.
In a statement, Hyatt said this new property demonstrated how the chain is “intentionally growing” its portfolio in the U.K.
“London remains a priority market for our planned brand growth in the U.K., and we are delighted to add Hyatt Regency London Albert Embankment to our expanding list of properties in the capital,” said Felicity Black-Roberts, vice president of development at Hyatt Europe.
Booking the Hyatt Regency London Albert Embankment
Luckily, the new Hyatt Regency is decently priced if you plan to use your World of Hyatt points. As a Category 5 hotel, standard award nights range from 17,000 points per night during off-peak dates to 23,000 points per night for peak dates.
If you’re low on points, you have several options to beef up your Hyatt balance, like opening a credit card or transferring points to Hyatt.
The World of Hyatt Credit Card ($95 annual fee): Earn up to 60,000 Bonus Points. Earn 30,000 points after you spend $3,000 on purchases in your first 3 months. Plus, up to 30,000 more points by earning 2 Bonus Points total per $1 spent in the first 6 months on purchases that normally earn 1 Bonus Point, up to $15,000 spent.
World of Hyatt Business Credit Card ($199 annual fee): Earn 60,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in your first 3 months from account opening.
A new points property opening up in a popular city like London is always great news, but one that’s reasonably priced, such as the Hyatt Regency London Albert Embankment, is excellent for travelers. With rates starting at just 17,000 points per night, this is sure to be a new favorite for World of Hyatt loyalists in London!
