JetBlue announced on August 26, 2024, that it would add its Mint business class service from Boston (BOS) and New York (JFK) to Bozeman (BZN).

Let’s take a look at this exciting news and how to book Mint flights to Montana!

JetBlue Increasing Service for Ski Season

JetBlue will offer Mint on its weekend flights (Friday through Sunday) to Bozeman from Boston (BOS) and New York (JFK).

The seasonal service will run between February 14 and March 30, 2025, and will coincide with Montana’s ski season. Bozeman is approximately 90 minutes from Yellowstone National Park. Weekday flights will remain unchanged, and the airline will fly its non-Mint aircraft on those days.

“With the introduction of Mint and the increased frequency of flights on weekends, we are committed to offering our customers premium travel options, making their journey to Bozeman and back an exceptional experience,” said Dave Jehn, vice president of network planning and airline partnerships at JetBlue.

Bottom Line:

JetBlue isn’t the only airline serving Bozeman from the East Coast, but it is the only one offering lie-flat business-class seats. United Airlines offers seasonal service from its Newark (EWR) hub. However, those flights are on the Boeing 737 MAX 8, which offers reclining business-class seats.

How To Book

Tickets for the routes are now on sale at JetBlue.com. While JetBlue usually offers promo fares on new routes or routes with increased service, that doesn’t appear to be the case here.

One-way economy tickets start at around $150, while flights in Mint start at more than $1,200. If you choose to pay with cash, make sure you book using a travel credit card or a card that rewards you for purchases with JetBlue.

There’s also ample availability with JetBlue TrueBlue points, but if you want to fly Mint, it won’t come cheap. One-way tickets start at more than 100,000 TrueBlue points each way!

Luckily, it’s pretty easy to earn JetBlue points if you want to book a flight on this route. Here are a few ways you can quickly earn lots of points:

Final Thoughts

JetBlue adding Mint service to Bozeman from 2 East Coast cities makes sense, especially considering it’s during the busy ski season. Unfortunately, prices aren’t cheap (and that’s true for cash or award reservations), but it is still worth it if you want to fly in business class.
