Most JetBlue customers know there are a number of great ways to earn TrueBlue points, but did you know you can also earn them while shopping online?

With just a few extra clicks, you can earn bonus points by using the TrueBlue portal!

This article will walk you through exactly how to navigate the JetBlue TrueBlue Shopping portal to maximize your points.

How to Log in

TrueBlue How It Works

In order to receive TrueBlue points for your purchases, customers must first log in to the TrueBlue shopping portal.

If you’re already a TrueBlue member, you don’t need to create a separate login – you simply use the account you already have. If you are not an existing TrueBlue member, you will need to create an account. It’s only a couple quick forms and free to sign up!

TrueBlue Sign In
Click “Sign In” at the top right-hand corner. Image Credit: JetBlue

The Sign In and Join buttons are clearly displayed in the top right-hand corner of the page.

Basics of Using the Portal

Once you are logged in, you can browse retailers and special offers. There are tabs at the top of the ShopTrue page for easy navigation.

TrueBlue Shopping Offers

Clicking on a retailer will give the offer, a brief overview of the company, and purchase conditions. You can also use the Points Calculator to see how many TrueBlue points you could earn with a specific purchase amount.

If you want to shop with a specific retailer and receive your bonus miles, you must click the orange “Shop Now” button that will direct you to the retailer’s site. Then, just complete your purchase through the site. JetBlue will automatically track your purchase through cookies, so be sure they are enabled on your browser!

Your TrueBlue points should appear in your TrueBlue transaction history as “Pending” within 5 working days. JetBlue will confirm your transaction with the retailer within 60 days. When approved, the TrueBlue points will be credited to your account.

Something to note: if you make a purchase through a retailer without going through the TrueBlue portal, there is no way to retroactively apply your bonus points at this time. However, if you’re one of those people who can often be forgetful, read below to learn about “TrueBlue Notify.”

Special Shopping Offers

JetBlue has advertised special shopping sweepstakes in the past, but they are few and far between.

One previous promotion was: “Tis The Season To Shop Nonstop.” They notified customers that “you could win 65,000 bonus TrueBlue points this holiday season when you subscribe for TrueBlue newsletters.”

As you can see, this wasn’t a guaranteed bonus if customers reached a certain spending amount — just a sweepstake. However, TrueBlue does highlight everyday retailer Bonus Offers that you can easily find via the toolbar.

These bonuses generally involve a retailer issuing an increased number of TrueBlue points per dollar compared to what they typically offer. These special offers tend to run for a limited amount of time only, with the deadline listed when you click the retailer.

For example, at the time of this writing, Nike was highlighting a Bonus Offer to earn 2 points per $1 rather than their normal offer of 1 point per $1.

Additionally, the ShopTrue portal has a “Coupons” tab that presents current sales and deals for applicable retailers. Clicking the specific retailer will either show you a current coupon code or tell you this is a sale that does not require a code.

Example Retailers

You may have noticed a few of the participating retailers in the photos above.

Participating retailers and potential mileage bonuses in the TrueBlue portal can change regularly. While you may not see bonuses as high as other shopping portals, if you’re collecting TrueBlue points it’s still a great option! If you’re interested in what other shopping portals are offering, use a site like CashBack Monitor to check over 40 shopping portals quickly.

At the time of writing, these were some of the better-earning rates offered:

  • Kiehl’s: 3 points per $1
  • Fossil: 3 points per $1
  • Domain.com: 8 points per $1
  • Bloomberg Business Week: 6 points per $1
  • Proactiv: 4 points per $1
  • … and much more!

Using Credit Cards to Earn Extra Points

If you really want to boost your TrueBlue earnings, you’ll want to use a card that earns TrueBlue points or points that can be transferred to JetBlue.
