JetBlue and European leisure airline Condor have had a partnership for several years, but now the 2 carriers are deepening their cooperation to include reciprocal mileage earning and redeeming, which should open up exciting new options for travelers.

“Expanding our loyalty partnerships is a key part of how we deliver greater value to our customers,” said Edward Pouthier, vice president of loyalty and personalization, JetBlue. “Through our collaboration with Condor, TrueBlue members now have more ways to turn their loyalty into meaningful travel experiences.”

Let’s take a look at everything you need to know!

JetBlue and Condor Deepen Partnership

JetBlue and Condor have been partners since 2015, but now the airlines are deepening their relationship to open up reciprocal mileage earning and redeeming.

Effective immediately, JetBlue TrueBlue members can earn and redeem TrueBlue points on Condor flights. The German leisure carrier serves 9 destinations in the U.S. nonstop from Frankfurt (FRA), including Anchorage (ANC), Boston (BOS), Las Vegas (LAS), Los Angeles (LAX), Miami (MIA), New York (JFK), Portland (PDX), San Francisco (SFO), and Seattle (SEA).

From Frankfurt, Condor can connect U.S. passengers to numerous popular cities across Europe, including hotspots like Berlin (BER), Hamburg (HAM), Milan (MXP), Munich (MUC), Paris (CDG), Prague (PRG), Rome (FCO), Vienna (VIE), and Zurich (ZRH).

Sure enough, award bookings for Condor flights are live on JetBlue’s website. As you can see, you can book a one-way flight between New York and Frankfurt for 19,000 points in economy and 54,000 points in business class, plus taxes and fees of about $14 for either cabin class.

As One Mile at a Time pointed out, redemption rates for Condor flights seem consistent across its network, making redemptions a decent value. This is especially true considering that redeeming TrueBlue points for JetBlue’s own flights is tied directly to the cash cost of the ticket.

TrueBlue members can also earn points on Condor flights booked with cash, according to the structure outlined in the screenshot below:

Final Thoughts

This expanded partnership between JetBlue and Condor is good news for JetBlue flyers, as it opens up a new way to redeem TrueBlue points at decent rates for trips to Europe. Remember, too, that Condor, despite being a leisure-focused airline, has an excellent business class product on board its state-of-the-art Airbus A330-900neos, boosting the value of your TrueBlue points even further!
