JSX is a semi-private jet operator. While it doesn’t have a terribly extensive route network, it can be an affordable alternative for commercial flights with larger airlines if you’re traveling between cities the carrier serves.
The small air carrier is launching new routes ahead of the hectic winter travel season. Let’s dig right into the new routes!
JSX Expanding Flights from Texas
JSX operates a fleet of 30-seat Embraer ERJ aircraft and serves more than a dozen airports, including Austin (AUS), Las Vegas (LAS), Miami (MIA), and more. The air carrier also operates seasonal service to Destin (DSI) and Gunnison/Crested Butte (GUC).
JSX announced on Wednesday that it’s expanding its network in Texas by adding 4 new routes that launch over the next few months. The routes are:
5x weekly nonstop seasonal service from Dallas-Love Field (DAL) to Miami (MIA) starting September 22, 2022
Daily 1-stop, same-plane service from Dallas (DAL) to Oakland (OAK) via Las Vegas (LAS) starting November 1, 2022
Up to 5x weekly nonstop seasonal service from Dallas (DAL) to Gunnison/Crested Butte (GUC) starting November 18, 2022
Up to 5x weekly seasonal service from Austin (AUS) via Dallas (DAL) to Gunnison/Crested Butte (GUC) starting November 18, 2022
To celebrate the launch, JSX is offering introductory fares on the routes, which start at $349 each way on the route between Dallas and Crested Butte, and up to $519 each way on the Dallas-Miami route.
“As outdoor destinations continue to top the list of desired getaways for leisure and business this fall and winter, we are excited to expand our flight offerings in California, Texas, and Florida for those in search of a reliable, simple, and safe travel option,” CEO Alex Wilcox said in a statement.
Wilcox continued the statement by saying the air carrier would cater to “anyone who values their time and peace of mind,” and wanted a hassle-free travel experience.
Travelers interested in checking out the new routes or booking a flight can do so by visiting jsx.com, downloading the mobile app, or calling 800-435-9579. Additionally, travelers can also book their JSX flights through JetBlue. The semi-private air carrier has a partnership with JetBlue, through which you can earn TrueBlue points on your flights. JSX also partners with United MileagePlus for mileage earning.

Final Thoughts
JSX expanding service is welcome news for travelers. While JSX is considerably smaller than a major air carrier, its planes offer far fewer seats than a typical commercial jet which makes the experience feel more exclusive. Plus, with competitive pricing, you may find a deal on a JSX flight that’s cheaper than a big carrier!
