JSX, the semi-private air carrier, has announced that it would restart service between Cabo San Lucas (CSL) and Los Angeles (LAX) and increase service between Cabo and Dallas (DAL).

Here’s what you need to know.

Route Details

JSX says it will restart flights between Los Angeles and Cabo San Lucas beginning on October 19, 2023, and will offer 5 flights per week on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

The carrier will also increase its Dallas-Cabo schedule to 2 flights per day on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

All tickets include 2 checked bags, onboard cocktails, and ample legroom to stretch out.

JSX at BUR

“Ahead of the holiday season, we are thrilled to bring back our much-asked-for Cabo San Lucas flights to West Coast Customers and increase our popular service from Dallas, offering an accessible, convenient, and hassle-free travel experience for all,” said JSX CEO Alex Wilcox.

To celebrate, JSX is offering promotional fares on the routes. Here’s a look:

  • Los Angeles (LAX)-Cabo San Lucas (CSL): Starting at $599 one-way
  • Dallas (DAL)-Cabo San Lucas (CSL): Starting at $519 one-way

If you aren’t familiar, JSX offers a “semi-private” model where you can arrive at the airport and hop onto a flight just a few minutes before departure. Unlike major carriers, JSX utilizes much smaller private terminals and airport hangars, which cuts out traditional pain points of commercial aviation, such as crowds and long lines at security screening.

Save With a New Amex Offer

There’s more good news if you want to fly JSX: a brand-new Amex Offer.

If you have an American Express card, make sure to check your accounts, as you might be targeted to get $100 back when you spend $500 or more on a flight with JSX through October 27, 2023.

Like all Amex Offers, you’ll need to add the offer to the card it was targeted for to receive your statement credit. With this offer, you must book your flight directly through JSX via its website or mobile app.

You’ll receive the discount as a $100 statement credit. The terms say it will be issued 90 days after October 23, 2023, but in our experience, they typically post soon after the qualifying purchase is made.

Final Thoughts

If you want to fly to (or from) Cabo in style, you should absolutely check out JSX’s service, especially with the promo tickets the carrier is offering. Even better, you can double-dip with JSX’s promotion and Amex Offers (if targeted) to get even more savings!
