There’s some huge news this morning. JSX, the semi-private air carrier, has officially launched a loyalty program. Dubbed “Club JSX,” the new loyalty program rewards new and existing customers on JSX flights.

“Club JSX isn’t built around gimmicks or wavering valuation. It’s built on the very same principles that continuously earn us the highest Customer satisfaction ratings in our industry: simplicity, generosity, and respect,” said JSX chief commercial officer David Drabinsky.

Here’s what you need to know.

Club JSX — The Details

JSX announced today that it would roll out a new loyalty program called Club JSX, and you can enroll here. Here are the perks you’ll get with membership, which is free:

  • 5% future credit: 5% back on applicable base fare, seat fees, and pet fees as a future trip credit
  • Family pooling: The ability to pool rewards with up to 5 people
  • Birthday bonus: Earn up to 2x rewards on flights taken during a customer’s birthday month
  • Personalized offers: Bonus accrual and special incentives based on individual travel habits
  • “Give $100, Get $100” referrals: Members can give $100 in flight credit to a first-time JSX flyer and earn a $100 voucher for themselves after that person takes their first flight

Club JSX is available for all ages; however, members under the age of 18 must obtain parental consent during the sign-up process.

If you’ve already taken a JSX flight, you don’t need to do anything else. The air carrier says your existing profile will be automatically enrolled by activating your Club JSX the next time you sign in on the website or the JSX mobile app.

Unfortunately, rewards expire 12 months after you earn them.

A few things to note: You won’t be able to earn rewards on change/cancel fees, phone support fees, overweight/excess baggage fees, or name change fees. Additionally, you can’t earn or redeem rewards on private charter flights or flights operated by JetBlue and United Airlines. You can, however, redeem rewards for all or part of an upcoming Hop On or All In fare booking.

If you aren’t familiar with JSX, it is a “hop-on” public charter jet service. JSX serves over 27 destinations, primarily on the West Coast and Southwestern United States.

JSX is extremely popular with travelers who want private-jet-like perks at an affordable price point. It offers the ability to check in 20 minutes before domestic flights (or 45 minutes for international flights), planeside baggage retrieval, complimentary high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi, and in-flight drinks, snacks, and cocktails.

Remember that you can already earn JetBlue TrueBlue points and United MileagePlus miles on JSX flights. Now, you have a third option to consider, and it’s worth comparing your options to get the most rewards on a flight. However, those loyal to JSX will likely prefer to keep their rewards in-house to use toward future flights with the carrier.

Bottom Line:

JSX has been known for its all-business class fleet of Embraer ERJ aircraft. However, the air carrier recently announced that it would lease 2 turboprop ATR 42-600s, marking that aircraft’s entry into the U.S. public charter network.

Final Thoughts

JSX has launched a new loyalty program, Club JSX. This is excellent news for travelers, as they can now earn rewards on JSX flights, in addition to the points or miles they’ll earn for booking flights with a travel rewards credit card.

What makes this program even more interesting is how easy it is to earn rewards from flying, pooling with family and friends, and even when flying on your birthday month. Plus, in a customer-friendly move, JSX says you can combine rewards, vouchers, and travel credits together on a new reservation, and they’ll be used in the order of soonest expiration.
