Marriott Bonvoy loyalists now have a new luxury points option in the Washington, D.C., suburbs.

JW Marriott Reston Station is a new luxury hotel that opened in the heart of Reston, Virginia, near transit, shopping, and more. Even better, it’s affordable with points.

JW Marriott Reston Station has opened in Northern Virginia with 247 guest rooms and suites.

Amenities include 3 dining options, including a Mid-Atlantic restaurant with French and Mediterranean influences, a fitness center, and more.

Notably absent is the famed JW Marriott Spa: it appears that it has been replaced with 14 “Mindful Rooms.” These guest rooms offer a “calming sanctuary for the senses,” and feature natural textures, soft lighting, a yoga mat, light weights, and recovery tools.

The hotel is located a short distance from the Silver Line Metro, offering easy access to the Nation’s Capitol, nearby Tysons Corner, and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD).

“Every detail at JW Marriott Reston Station is intended to provide a truly remarkable experience, inviting guests to be present in mind, body, and spirit,” said Dewayne Wright, the hotel’s managing director.

Reston is a planned community in Northern Virginia, located approximately 35 minutes from Washington, D.C. This is the first JW Marriott hotel to open in the state of Virginia.
