Right now, The World of Hyatt Credit Card is offering up to 5 Category 1-4 free night certificates to new cardmembers. This is an excellent welcome bonus offer for this card, but it’ll soon come to an end at 9 a.m. ET on February 26, 2026.

Let’s take another look at the offer and see if it’s right for you.

World of Hyatt Card Limited-Time Offer Ending Soon

The World of Hyatt card has a new welcome offer of up to 5 Category 1-4 free night certificates with a tiered bonus structure. But it’s ending on February 26, 2026, at 9 a.m. ET.

Here’s how the offer is structured:

  • Earn 3 Category 1 to 4 free night certificates after spending $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months after account opening.
  • Earn an additional 2 Category 1 to 4 free night certificates after spending a total of at least $15,000 in purchases in the first 6 months after account opening.

You’ll get the most value from this offer if you use the certificates for Category 4 properties, which cost 12,000 points during off-peak availability, 15,000 during standard availability, or 18,000 points during peak availability.

If you were to redeem all 5 certificates for a Category 4 property on peak nights, the welcome bonus offer on this card would be worth 90,000 World of Hyatt points.

While you could get more value from this welcome offer than the typical offer of 60,000 World of Hyatt points, remember that Category 1-4 free night certificates are less flexible, as they restrict which hotels you can book, and they expire a year after they’re issued. But if you identify a property (or a couple) that appeals to you, it could be a tremendously valuable offer to take advantage of.

Some examples of standout Category 4 properties in the U.S. include the Grand Hyatt Denver, Thompson Washington, D.C., Hyatt Centric Las Olas Fort Lauderdale, Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach, Hyatt Centric French Quarter New Orleans, The Carolina Inn in North Carolina, and more. There are many more fantastic Category 4 properties across the globe, too.

Aside from this specific welcome bonus offer, the World of Hyatt card is one you may want to keep in your wallet if you frequent Hyatt properties. It comes with valuable benefits that easily outweigh the reasonable $95 annual fee, including an annual free Category 1 to 4 free night certificate, automatic Hyatt Discoverist status, and 5 elite night credits to help you reach the next level of Hyatt elite status.

Hot Tip:

Hyatt has plans to expand its credit card portfolio in 2026, so if adding this card puts you over Chase’s 5/24 rule, you may want to wait to see what the new cards are like before applying.

Final Thoughts

The World of Hyatt card currently has an alluring welcome bonus offer of up to 5 Category 1-4 free night certificates. However, it’s ending soon — at 9 a.m. ET on February 26, 2026. If you’re interested in this offer and having the 5 free night certificates fits your travel goals, don’t hesitate to apply for this card before this limited-time offer expires.
