There’s a new high-end points hotel in Seoul, and not only is it stunning, it’s also affordable. L’Escape, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Seoul Myeongdong, is one of the most exciting options in a city with no shortage of 5-star hotels.

L’Escape, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Seoul Myeongdong features 204 guest rooms and suites across 4 room categories. Guests staying in higher-category rooms can access La Maison Boutique, an exclusive lounge serving breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails.

L’Escape is not an entirely new hotel, as it opened in the summer of 2018. However, it has now joined Marriott’s sleek Luxury Collection portfolio.

The hotel seeks to offer a “refined expression of Parisian elegance and French sophistication,” and it clearly hit the mark. The hotel was designed by the notable French architect Jacques Garcia and pays homage to 19th-century France.

Amenities include 5 dining options, a library, a spa, and a fitness center. One of the restaurants, L’Amant Secret, is a 1 Michelin-starred restaurant.

The hotel is located in Seoul’s lively Myeongdong neighborhood, making it easy to reach attractions such as Gyeongbokgung Palace and N Seoul Tower. The hotel is a 40-minute drive from Incheon International Airport (ICN) and a 20-minute drive from Gimpo International Airport (GMP).
