Marriott has recently unveiled a brand-new Moxy Hotel in the trendy town of Asheville. The Moxy Asheville hotel, celebrated for its cozy rooms and vibrant communal areas, is making a grand entrance in Western North Carolina.

Let’s dive right in!

New Moxy Hotel Opens in Asheville

The Moxy Asheville contains 115 guest rooms and suites and is located on Biltmore Avenue in Asheville’s vibrant downtown area. The hotel is connected to the current Aloft Asheville Downtown, combining 2 modern Marriott brands.

The hotel has a grab-and-go market in the lobby, a state-of-the-art fitness center with Peloton bikes, flexible meeting space, and a rooftop bar and restaurant on the seventh floor that serves 150+ whiskeys and bourbons, craft cocktails, beer and wine, Asian-inspired small plates, and unrivaled Blue Ridge Mountain views.

The hotel is 13 miles from Asheville Regional Airport (AVL).

“Our team is thrilled to welcome this exciting new property to the portfolio,” said J.B. McKibbon, president of McKibbon Equities. “Asheville has solidified itself as a must-visit destination in the south, and as we expand our footprint in North Carolina, we couldn’t be prouder to share the beloved Moxy brand with this community and its visitors.”

Asheville has experienced a rise in popularity in recent years, and the debut of the stylish Moxy brand downtown aligns perfectly with the brand’s ethos and the city’s vibrant energy and artistic scene.

Booking the Moxy Asheville

The Moxy Asheville is now open for guests. The hotel is a member of the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program, meaning you can earn and redeem points for stays.

Rates are comparable to those at other Moxy hotels in the U.S., with base-level rooms starting at about $175 per night.

If you prefer saving cash, you can also redeem Marriott Bonvoy points for a room. A standard room starts out at 41,000 points per night throughout 2024 and 2025.
