To celebrate the launch of MGM Rewards (formerly M life Rewards), the MGM Rewards™ Mastercard® has a new bonus that is sure to get fans of the brand excited. In fact, it’s the largest welcome bonus this card has ever offered.
Here’s a look at the new welcome offer, how you can earn it, and the benefits of the MGM Rewards card to help you determine if it’s a good fit for you.
Earn $250 With the MGM Rewards Card
From now through April 7, 2022, you can earn $250 (25,000 points) when you spend $5,000 in the first 6 billing cycles after your account is opened.
MGM Rewards lets you redeem your points toward dining, entertainment, and even hotel stays. In addition, points earned through the MGM Rewards card can be redeemed for Slot Dollars. Whatever redemption option you choose, you’ll have $250 in points to put towards it.
MGM Rewards Card Benefits
With the MGM Rewards card you’ll earn:
- 3x points and Tier Credits per $1 spent at MGM Rewards properties
- 2x points and Tier Credits per $1 spent on gas and supermarket purchases
- 1x point and Tier Credit per $1 spent on all other purchases
If you’re confused between the difference in points and Tier Credits, points are the rewards currency you earn that you can then redeem for MGM hotel stays and other items, while Tier Credits are what allow you to reach higher levels of elite status within the MGM Rewards program.
Speaking of elite status, holding the MGM Rewards card will grant you an automatic upgrade to MGM Rewards Pearl status that comes with 10% bonus points for your gaming spend and free parking at participating MGM Rewards properties.
Further, the MGM Rewards card offers priority hotel check-in at MGM Rewards destinations, no foreign transaction fees, and keeps your points from expiring, all for no annual fee!
Hot Tip: Those with World of Hyatt elite status can match their status to the MGM Rewards program. World of Hyatt Discoverist members will match to MGM Pearl, while Explorist and Globalist members can match to MGM Gold status.
Final Thoughts
Not only is the $250 welcome bonus pretty solid for a card with no annual fee, but the MGM Rewards card certainly can make a lot of sense for anyone who is a big fan of MGM hotels and casinos and is looking to work to earn high levels of elite status within the MGM Rewards program.
That said, if you’re interested in the card, this offer — the highest-ever for this card — is only available through April 7, 2022, so you’ll want to make sure you take advantage of it before then.
