Qatar Airways Launches Monthly Avios Deals With 25% Off Awards

Qatar Airways Privilege Club has launched monthly award deals offering up to 25% off select economy and business class flights.

The first offers are available to book through August 14, 2026, for travel through September 30, 2026. While no U.S. routes are included this month, the promotion may still be useful if you’re connecting through Doha (DOH).

Qatar Airways’ First Monthly Avios Deals

Qatar Airways plans to release a new list of discounted award routes each month. This isn’t a new concept in the points-and-miles world: Air France-KLM Flying Blue publishes monthly Promo Rewards, while Lufthansa Miles & More offers discounted awards through its recurring Mileage Bargains.

It’s good to see Qatar Airways introduce its own version, especially since a 25% discount can be significant on premium or even economy awards.

For the first round, Qatar Airways Privilege Club is discounting business class awards between Doha and the following cities:

• Berlin (BER)
• Cairo (CAI)
• Colombo (CMB)
• Jakarta (CGK)
• Riyadh (RUH)
• Warsaw (WAW)

You can also save on economy awards between Doha and:

• Amman (AMM)
• Geneva (GVA)
• Larnaca (LCA)
• Munich (MUC)
• Riyadh (RUH)

The deal applies to one-way and round-trip awards, so you don’t need to book a round-trip itinerary to get the lower price. You can take a look at the official promo page here.

For example, an off-peak business class award from Doha to Cairo normally costs 26,000 Avios each way. With this 25% discount, you’ll pay just 19,500 Avios, saving 6,500 Avios.

Although there aren’t any U.S. cities on this month’s list, we wouldn’t dismiss the promotion entirely. It may still come in handy if you’re flying from the U.S. to Doha and continuing to Cairo, Berlin, Warsaw, Colombo, Jakarta, or another eligible destination.

Qatar Airways’ terms state that only flights specifically marked with the redemption discount qualify, so check the final price carefully before booking. Even if only the eligible segment receives the discount, saving several thousand Avios on an itinerary you were already planning is still a win.

How To Book Qatar Airways’ Monthly Avios Award Deals

You must book through the Qatar Airways website or its mobile app while logged in to your Privilege Club account. These promotional prices won’t appear if you search for the same Qatar Airways flight through The British Airways Club.

The discount is limited to flights marketed and operated by Qatar Airways. Partner awards and Qatar’s higher-priced Flexi Awards aren’t eligible. You’ll also need to pay the usual taxes, fees, and surcharges.

There’s also a current American Express transfer bonus that could make these awards even cheaper. Through September 27, 2026, Amex Membership Rewards points transfer to The British Airways Club, Club Iberia Plus, and Aer Lingus AerClub at a 1:1 ratio with a 30% bonus. That means 1,000 Membership Rewards points will convert to 1,300 Avios, instead of the usual 1,000 Avios.

Since you can link your British Airways and Qatar Airways accounts and instantly transfer Avios between them at no cost, transferring Amex points to British Airways is the most direct option. You can then move those Avios to your Qatar Airways Privilege Club account and book a discounted award.

For example, the previously mentioned discounted business class award from Doha to Cairo costs 19,500 Avios. Thanks to this limited-time 30% transfer bonus, you would need to transfer just 15,000 Membership Rewards points to British Airways to receive the required 19,500 Avios and book this business class award.

It’s always exciting to see an airline introduce recurring award discounts, since these deals can help you stretch your points even further. There aren’t any U.S. routes included this month, but hopefully we’ll see a few added in the future.
