Marriott has opened a second EDITION hotel in Saudi Arabia, and it is stunning. The Red Sea EDITION has opened on Saudi Arabia’s Shura Island, joining other ultra-luxe brands like SLS, Grand Hyatt, and more.

Second EDITION Opens in Saudi Arabia

The Red Sea EDITION has opened on Shura Island with 240 guest rooms, including 53 suites with 1- and 2-bedroom setups.

This is Marriott’s second EDITION hotel in Saudi Arabia, after The Jeddah EDITION.

Amenities at The Red Sea EDITION include a spa featuring treatments by Omorovicza and Le Labo, an infrared sauna, a snow shower, a lymphatic shower, and a fitness center offering high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and TRX fusion classes. Other amenities include several outdoor pools, beach access, and meeting and event spaces.

True to any EDITION resort, dining is a main staple here, and the resort offers several food and beverage options.

These include an all-day restaurant that serves pastries in the morning and tea-based cocktails in the evening, a New American restaurant offering spins on American dishes like Jambalaya, a beach club serving Indonesian fare, and more. Opening in December is ANASA, helmed by a Saudi chef, which will serve an “Aegean-inspired experience.”

To get to Shura Island, you’ll fly into Red Sea International Airport (RSI) and then take a 30-minute car ride. The Red Sea EDITION is now open for guests. You’ll find cash rates for around $560 per night, which is a pretty solid deal for an EDITION resort.
