Roame.Travel, otherwise known simply as “Roame,” is a popular award search aggregator that allows users to discover award availability in more than 20 loyalty programs, covering flights on more than 200 airlines worldwide.

The platform has just added another program to its roster: Finnair Plus. Let’s take a look at the details.

Roame Adds Finnair Plus to Searches

Roame has consistently added new programs to its roster of searchable loyalty programs. Recently, it added Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer and Aer Lingus AerClub, and now it’s added a major Oneworld alliance program: Finnair Plus.

Roame allows users to search for award flights up to 365 days in advance across economy, business, and first class cabins. The free version of the service allows users to search for flights on a given route. Roame will display the best award rates available across all the programs it can search. Plus, it will display information regarding the programs from which you can transfer the points necessary to book the ticket, including American Express Membership Rewards, Capital One miles, Chase Ultimate Rewards, and more.

A premium version of the service provides numerous additional useful features for more frequent or skilled users. It costs $109 annually or $12.99 monthly.

Now that users can search for awards within Finnair Plus, they’ll have access to even more awards within the Oneworld alliance, which has 14 member airlines. For example, a search on Roame reveals that you could visit Finland this fall on a nonstop Finnair flight from New York (JFK) for just 30,000 Finnair Avios plus $84 in taxes and fees.

Even better, Finnair is one of the programs that utilizes Avios as its award currency. The others are British Airways Club, Aer Lingus AerClub, Club Iberia Plus, and Qatar Airways Privilege Club. You can transfer points between all of these Avios programs immediately and freely, making it easy to leverage any of them for the flights you want or need. Accruing points in any of these is also easy, as each is a transfer partner of at least 1 major transferrable program.

A note from a Roame.Travel spokesperson notes that Finnair Plus searches are still in beta, though they should cover “nearly all” of the airline’s route network and many partner routes on airlines such as Cathay Pacific and Japan Airlines.

Hot Tip:

Roame.Travel isn’t the only award search aggregator around. Point.mePointsYeah, and Seats.aero offer similar services.

Final Thoughts

Roame.Travel has become a very popular service among people who have points and miles to use on flights. And it’s only getting better. The addition of Finnair Plus to its repertoire means users will have another Oneworld program to utilize and should open up even more airline award tickets to destinations around the world.
