Big news for North Texas travelers: Royal Jordanian is adding Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to its growing network, bringing a nonstop link to Amman, Jordan, for the first time.

With year-round Dreamliner service, Oneworld connections, and an ambitious fleet upgrade on the horizon, here’s what you can expect from this new route.

Dallas Flights Launch in 2026 on Royal Jordanian 787s

Royal Jordanian will launch 4 weekly flights between Dallas (DFW) and Amman’s Queen Alia International Airport (AMM), beginning May 2026.

The service will operate year-round with Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners configured with 24 business class seats and 246 economy seats, offering travelers a comfortable way to cross the Atlantic and connect deeper into the Middle East.

“Welcoming Royal Jordanian to DFW is another exciting step in growing our global network,” said Chris McLaughlin, CEO of DFW. “This nonstop connection to Amman is a first for North Texas and expands our reach into the Middle East.”

As a Oneworld Alliance member, Royal Jordanian joins forces with American Airlines, British Airways, Alaska Airlines at DFW. Serving American’s largest hub, the airline will now offer travelers convenient 1-stop connections from Jordan to more than 200 destinations across North America and beyond.

This new route adds Dallas to Royal Jordanian’s North American network, which currently includes Chicago (ORD), Detroit (DTW), Montreal (YUL), New York (JFK), Toronto (YYZ), and Washington, D.C. (IAD).

The airline recently announced it will roll out its new business class on its Chicago route. With the Boeing 787-9 joining the fleet in 2026, we’re hoping the upcoming Dallas route will eventually feature the same upgraded seating.

Hot Tip:

While you’ll eventually be able to redeem points and miles with programs such as American Airlines AAdvantage, British Airways Club, and Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards to book nonstop or 1-stop connections across North America, these flights aren’t showing on award search engines yet, so you’ll need to wait a bit longer before they’re bookable.

Final Thoughts

Royal Jordanian’s new Dallas route is great news for Texas travelers. It provides nonstop flights to Amman and easy connections across the Middle East. This expansion opens up more options for exploring Jordan and beyond, whether for business or leisure.

Here’s hoping the Dallas route eventually gets the new business class product, which could make award redemptions and paid fares even more valuable for travelers.
