Savewise provided the author with a complimentary upgrade to a pro account to test out the features below. All opinions are the author’s own, and no Savewise employees had input in any part of this review.

I’ve often said that no one should earn just 1 point for every dollar they spend online. With shopping portals, it’s just too easy to add extra points or cash-back, earned with a few clicks and a few seconds of your time.

Savewise is a new tool in the rewards space, helping you compare the offers available to earn extra points, miles, or cash-back when shopping online. And now, it has a new feature: the ability to auto-sync your Amex Offers to ensure you don’t miss out on them.

What is Savewise? And is now the time to create an account? Let’s take a closer look at what it offers.

What Is Savewise?

Savewise is not an online shopping portal, to be clear. It doesn’t give you any points, but it still helps you double- or triple-dip on rewards when shopping online.

Savewise is an aggregator like CashbackMonitor, showing you the various portals and their payouts so you know what you can earn before making a purchase online. When logging in, you’ll see options to search for stores or jump to sections with the best offers available at present.

Plus, Savewise now offers the ability to automatically activate your Amex Offers, ensuring you have every opportunity to save money, receive statement credits, or earn bonus points when shopping online.

Key Features

Here are the key features Savewise offers for members.

Search for Offers

The tool you’ll likely use most lets you search for a store before shopping. Here, you’ll see the various offers from online shopping portals, and you can click through your preferred option before making a purchase. Additionally, if you’ve synced your Amex Offers and/or Chase Offers with Savewise, any offers attached to your credit cards will be highlighted on the side.

It’s also possible to filter to see only the top offers available, regardless of what you may be shopping for. These can be sorted by the top points offers in programs like Chase Ultimate Rewards as well as hotel programs like Wyndham Rewards.

And you can view the top airline miles or top cash-back offers as well.

Sync Your Offers

If you install the Savewise browser extension (available for Chrome, Firefox, and Safari), you’ll see it pop up when visiting a store with offers. You’ll also see it pop up offering to sync your Chase and Amex Offers when logged in to your account.

Offer Stacking Highlights

Savewise also highlights an opportunities to stack offers together, such as earning from Chase Offers and Rakuten at the same time.

Getting to double-dip on your spending with a little help from Safewise is certainly one of the more appealing perks of the tool.

Hot Tip:

It’s possible to earn thousands of extra bonus points and miles from online shopping, just by adding a few clicks to your routine. Here’s how one of our writers earned 100,000 airline miles from these portals.

Offer History

You can view the history of individual offers, available from the past 180 days. This way, you will know whether an offer is good — and you should use it now — or whether waiting a few days might be more rewarding.

But what if you’re just shopping for an item and don’t care what store you purchase from? Savewise has a product search feature, available from the home page. For example, if you’re looking to purchase AirPods, you can see the available offers from Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and other stores and make your purchase from the store offering the best rewards.

Customizations

Members can customize their accounts to show preferred portals and ignore others.

It’s also possible to set your own values for what you think points and miles are worth. Using either the default or customized valuations, offers are compared against each other to help you understand whether earning 3x Capital One miles or 5x Delta SkyMiles would make more sense if those offers are available at the same time for the same product.

How Much Does Savewise Cost?

Savewise offers a free plan and a paid plan. The free plan lets you search 23 different shopping portals and view 14 days of offer history. You’ll also be able to set up to 3 offer alerts and save unlimited numbers of favorite merchants.

Furthermore, you will have the ability to sync your Chase and Amex Offers, view stackable offers, and use Savewise’s browser extensions; however, custom points valuations cannot be set.

The pro plan, which is the paid option, offers everything included in the free plan, but you’ll see 180 days of offer history. You also gain the ability to auto-activate Chase and Amex Offers, set favorite shopping portals, get unlimited offer alerts, and receive alerts for stackable offers (a feature that’s coming soon).

With the pro plan, you can purchase a lifetime subscription for $99 or pay $59 annually.

Rewards From Referrals

By referring friends to sign up for Savewise, you can earn a free pro membership. You’ll get 1 month of pro membership for each referral who signs up for Savewise. All your friend needs to do is register an account and set up a browser extension — things they can do for free.

Final Thoughts

Savewise is a relatively new tool to help you earn extra points, miles, and cash-back from online shopping. Its latest feature is the ability to automatically activate your Amex Offers and Chase Offers, ensuring you don’t miss out on bonus points or statement credits when shopping online.

Savewise isn’t a rewards portal; instead, it compares the various rewards offers available online to help you choose the best option for your upcoming purchase. There are free and paid plans available, depending on how powerful you want your account to be.
