This new promotion from Marriott is a targeted one, but it sure is a fantastic one if you’re one of the lucky few who have been selected.
Here is all the detail you need to know about the latest promotion, and how you can check to see if you’ve been targeted for it.
Earn 2 Free Nights After 2 Stays

Note that this is only eligible for paid nights, so you cannot redeem points for a stay and then receive a Free Night Award.
What does a “Free Night Award” mean? Well, you’ll be able to redeem one at any property costing up to 35,000 points per night. While Marriott Bonvoy will be removing its award charts later this month, it is likely that there will still be plenty of solid properties you can book at this price.
Further, these Free Night Awards are valid from 6 months from their issue date, so you’ll have some time when deciding on how to best make use of them.
Here are the other terms and conditions you’ll want to be aware of:
- A stay is defined as one or more consecutive nights spent at the same hotel.
- Registration is required.
- Members can earn a maximum of 2 Free Night Awards during the promotion’s earning period.
- Earning period starts the day after members register through May 31, 2022.
- Registered members electing to earn miles are not eligible for this promotion.
- Nights stayed prior to enrollment are not eligible for this offer.
- Only 1 room per hotel is counted toward registered members’ stays.
- Homes & Villas by Marriott International, Marriott Executive Apartments, and Marriott Vacation Club owner-occupied weeks are not eligible for the promotion.
- Nights spent while redeeming an award are not eligible for the promotion.
- Free Night Awards will be added to the member’s account within 3 to 5 business days after your first and second qualifying stays, and are valid for 6 months from the date of issuance.
Hot Tip: As mentioned, Marriott Bonvoy will be fully removing its award chart later this month, but there are still many great hotels throughout the world that will likely still be priced at 35,000 points or lower where you can use your Free Night Award from this promotion.
Final Thoughts
Put simply, promotions this lucrative don’t come along very often.
Since this promotion would allow you to book a stay of as little as 1 night and then earn a Free Night Award worth up to 35,000 points, we highly recommend checking to see if you are targeted, and taking advantage of the promotion if you are.
