Vacations by Marriott is offering a bonus of 25,000 Marriott Bonvoy points when you book a minimum 5-night stay by December 31, 2024. This offer is available to all Marriott Bonvoy members, and the only limitation to your travel date is the end of the schedule next year.

Here are the details.

What Is Vacations by Marriott?

The first thing to understand with this offer is that you must book with Vacations by Marriott, though many consumers are unfamiliar with this concept. Essentially, Marriott partners with major airlines worldwide to offer both airline tickets and a hotel stay at a cheaper cost than purchasing both elements separately.

While it doesn’t always work out that both together are cheaper, for many consumers, purchasing everything in a one-stop-shop is convenient, and there are usually some discounts to be had. Marriott uses consolidator (bulk) airfares and, by utilizing its own control of hotel inventory and pricing, is able to offer a bundled package for generally less than the market rate.

The Offer

This offer requires Marriott Bonvoy members to book by December 31, 2024, and travel by June 30, 2025. The offer applies at all Marriott International “All-Inclusive” properties.

Under the offer, you’ll need to purchase a minimum 5-night stay and combine your hotel stay with round-trip airfare. The hotel nights must be consecutive. During the booking process, you’ll be allowed to choose the type of airfare you like and will be presented with a number of different options, from basic economy to premium cabin fares. You can alter the type of airline ticket you’d like, filtering out to your desires.

Once you complete the 5-night stay with round-trip airfare, you’ll receive 25,000 bonus Marriot Bonvoy points, which should post to your account within 1 to 2 weeks after the stay is completed. It’s worth noting that you’ll also earn Marriott Bonvoy points on the room rate itself, and you’ll also accrue normal Elite Night Credits toward Marriott elite status as well.

You’ll be able to earn the bonus multiple times for each eligible trip you complete. We value Marriott points at 0.7 cents each, making 25,000 points worth $175.

Final Thoughts

While completing this offer solely for the bonus points isn’t worth it, if you have the need for a 5-night hotel stay and airfare, it’s worth looking into the pricing Vacations by Marriott can offer to see if it makes sense to bundle your purchase to earn the additional points.

Vacations by Marriott can be a great way to save on hotel stays combined with airfare, and since you’ll also earn additional bonus points in the process, it could be worth taking advantage of this offer. You’ll need to book by December 31, 2024, and you have 6 months to complete your trip.
