Many families are busy planning their summer travel, especially now that many coronavirus-related restrictions have gone. To make things easier, a major travel brand is allowing people to plan and even book travel within its mobile app — let’s dive into the details!

Plan and Book Your Summer Travel in Wyndham’s App

Wyndham has announced the launch of a new road-trip planner in its mobile app.

This feature was designed to help guests plan, curate, and even book trips in a single convenient place. The new feature allows travelers to book multiple stays at once in addition to several other features including:

  • The ability to filter by driving time or distance, preferred brands, amenities, and pet-friendly locations
  • The ability to map routes with preferred stops
  • The ability to discover a recommended route based on travel preferences
  • The ability to view multiple reservations on 1 screen, look up key amenities, and share on-property requests ahead of time
  • The ability to pay with Wyndham Rewards points, cash, or a mix of both

“With Road Trip Planner, travelers enter a few details about the trip and instantly get an itinerary with all their hotel stops, bookable in one single transaction. It not only eases the stresses of travel planning but ensures the journey is as exciting as the destination,” said Jessica Davidson, Wyndham’s Senior Vice President of Digital, said in a statement.

Travelers can use the road-trip-planning feature by downloading the Wyndham app, available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Also, between May 26 and May 30, 2022, members can take advantage of Wyndham’s latest flash-sale offer of 8,000 bonus points when they book 2 nights or more through Wyndham’s mobile app.

Make sure you tap the offer on the app’s home screen. A 2-night minimum stay is required and must be completed by June 30, 2022 (see terms and conditions).

Hot Tip: Not familiar with Wyndham Hotels and Resorts? Check out our guide that covers all the ins and outs of the Wyndham’s 25+ brands.

Wyndham has nearly 9,000 properties across more than 95 countries worldwide, and it has many brands that travelers have likely stayed at — or at least heard of — including La Quinta and Days Inn.

Wyndham Rewards doesn’t get as much attention as Hilton Honors, Marriott Bonvoy, or World of Hyatt, but the program has competitive and straightforward award pricing — free nights at all Wyndham properties cost either 7,500, 15,000, or 30,000 points per night.

Final Thoughts

Wyndham seems to have put a lot of thought into this new app feature, as many travelers want a seamless way to book and plan trips. As the summer travel season gets into full swing, it’s a good time to check out the Wyndham app to plan and book your dream vacation!
