Wyndham Rewards is back with a new exciting promotion for bonus points for weeknight stays.
Here’s what you need to know!
Promo Is for Stays From Sunday Through Thursday
You can earn 5,000 bonus points for stays Sunday through Thursday for stays of 2 consecutive nights or more.
According to Wyndham, you can earn this bonus twice for a total of 10,000 bonus points. Here at Upgraded Points, we value Wyndham Rewards at 0.9 cents per point, making a 10,000-point bonus worth $90.
You’ll need to register for the promotion, book direct with Wyndham Rewards by January 13, 2023, and complete your stay by January 16, 2023, to receive the points. Note that the multiplier will be applied to base points only.
This promo can be combined with an existing promotion where you’ll earn 3x Wyndham Rewards points on your stay from now through January 13, 2023.
Hot Tip: When booking, make sure to use one of our recommended best credit cards for Wyndham Rewards loyalists!
Is It Worth It?
These are solid promotions, especially if you’re a Wyndham loyalist or have some stays coming up soon.
That’s because Wyndham has one of the most straightforward award chart structures of all the hotel programs. Award nights start at just 7,500 points per night and top out at 30,000 points per night.
While the program doesn’t get as much traction as Hilton, Hyatt, or Marriott, Wyndham has nearly 2 dozen brands under its portfolio. These include some brands you’re likely familiar with, such as Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Ramada, La Quinta, and Days Inn, so if you look hard enough, you may be able to find a higher-end property for either 7,500 or 15,000 points per night.
If you earn this bonus twice, you’ll earn 10,000 points, which is enough for a free award night at several properties worldwide, even some hotels in desirable locations, such as Wyndham Garden Cancun Downtown, Super 8 by Wyndham in Phoenix’s Metro North, or the Ramada by Wyndham Hounslow – Heathrow East near London.
Final Thoughts
This is a sweet promotion that can net you some serious Wyndham points. Wyndham has some of the cheapest hotels out there, so you can earn 5,000 (or 10,000) bonus points — which can be used towards a future stay — for pretty affordable prices. If you’re interested in the promotion, remember to register and complete your stay before mid-January 2023!
