Key Takeaways

  • Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) has 6 lounges and experiences across its 2 concourses.
  • Delta Air Lines loyalists and American Express cardholders should feel the most at home at SLC, with 2 Sky Clubs and a Centurion Lounge.
  • Day passes and walk-in services are available at Minute Suites and XpresSpa.

Serving nearly 30 million passengers annually, Salt Lake City International Airport is the 22nd busiest airport in the U.S. It continues to grow, serving the rapidly developing Utah capital while maintaining an enviable on-time flight record.

SLC Airport is in the fourth and final stage of a $5 billion, years-long construction project that includes adding several new gates, shops, and restaurants to the airport. In October 2025, an American Express Centurion Lounge and Delta’s second-largest Sky Club opened in Concourse B. The last 11 of 16 new gates in Concourse B are scheduled to open in fall 2026, which will complete the renovation.

The airport now has 6 lounges and airport experiences split between 2 concourses. The River Tunnel, which opened in 2024, makes it easy to walk between them. It’s after security, so you don’t have to re-clear security to go from the lounges in one concourse to the lounges in the other.
