How To Use Hyatt Points To Book Hyatt Ziva Resorts

While the process of booking a Hyatt Ziva resort with points is the same as booking any other Hyatt hotel with points, you need to pay attention to 1 detail: the number of people staying in the room.

Since Hyatt Ziva resorts are all-inclusive, the price is based on the number of people staying in the room. So it’s important you get that information correct, whether you’re paying the cash rate or booking with points.

If you’re paying in points, each additional person in the room beyond the first 2 guests costs half of the number of base points per night. For example, if a room for 2 people costs 20,000 points per night, it would cost 30,000 points per night for 3 people.

Staying at Hyatt Ziva Resorts With Kids

If you’re traveling with kids, be sure to enter their ages at the time of check-in, not the time of booking. For example, if your child is 2 when you make the reservation but will be 3 when you travel, enter their age as 3.

Children 2 years and younger stay for free at Hyatt Ziva resorts, no matter how the reservation is booked. When you’re booking a Hyatt Ziva with points, kids 3 and up cost the same as an adult. However, when you’re booking a cash rate, kids can be less expensive. So it can sometimes make sense to book the room in points for 2 adults and then add a child to the reservation with cash (you may need to call 800-233-1234).

1. Hyatt Ziva Cancun (Mexico)

Hyatt Ziva Cancun is a family-friendly, all-inclusive resort at the north end of Cancún’s Hotel Zone, close to all of Cancún’s tourist activities.

Guest rooms at this all-suite property are furnished with contemporary Caribbean décor. Each of the 547 rooms features a spectacular bathroom with a rainfall shower, a refreshment center complete with soft drinks and beer, and a furnished balcony with beach or pool views.

Guests can enjoy the white-sand beach and clear waters right in front of the hotel or relax by one of the 3 infinity pools. Activities abound at Hyatt Ziva Cancun — there’s kayaking and snorkeling, along with dance lessons, live music, KidZ Club, a kids water play area, and everything in between.

There’s no shortage of food or drinks at Hyatt Ziva Cancun. Choose any of the resort’s 8 restaurants or 7 bars and lounges. They include casual oceanfront dining, upscale French and Italian cuisine, a classic American diner, buffet-style restaurants, food trucks, a dessert parlor, and a coffee bar.

2. Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana (Dominican Republic)

Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana is a beachfront resort about 20 minutes south of Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

Each of the 375 guest suites has a private patio or balcony, and some even have direct pool access. Decorated in a contemporary tropical style, each suite has at least 600 square feet, as well as a coffee maker, minibar, and a Hyatt Grand Bed.

There are tons of daily activities included in the room rate. Guests can try arts and crafts, dance classes, or even a virtual reality experience. In addition to the gorgeous beach, there are multiple infinity pools and a water park with a lazy river and slides. The large fitness center has cardio equipment and weight machines, as well as classes like Pilates, yoga, or Zumba. Kids love the supervised activities at the KidZ Club, while teens enjoy the Teen Club with virtual reality simulators and Formula 1 racing games.

When hunger strikes, guests can choose any of the 12 restaurants and bars on the property, including a Caribbean buffet, a Mongolian grill, a sports lounge, a casual beachfront cafe, and more.

Hyatt Ziva Cancun and Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana are the most expensive of the Hyatt Ziva hotels. The least expensive location is Hyatt Ziva Madeira.

3. Hyatt Ziva Corfu (Greece)

After rebranding from Dreams Corfu Resort & Spa, Hyatt Ziva Corfu opened in June 2026 as the first Hyatt Ziva in Greece. This beachfront property features 327 guest rooms, suites, and bungalows to accommodate families of all sizes.

Kids from 4 to 12 can enjoy supervised activities, games, and crafts at the Explorer’s Club. Core Zone offers sports, water activities, and video games for teens from 13 to 17. Meanwhile, adults have a fitness center and spa.

There are multiple restaurants and bars on the property, including Greek, Italian, and seafood restaurants, an international buffet, and a swim-up bar.

4. Hyatt Ziva Jardin Tropicale Tenerife (Spain)

After completing a rebranding from Dreams Jardín Tropical Resort & Spa, Hyatt Ziva Jardin Tropicale Tenerife opened as the first Hyatt Ziva in Spain in 2026. In Costa Adeje, a popular coastal town in the Canary Islands, this pet-friendly resort offers easy access to local attractions, including Teide National Park, Drago Park, and Puerto Colón.

The resort features 2 pools, a spa, a gym, a kids club, golf, and nightly entertainment. Four bars and 6 restaurants mean you won’t go hungry or thirsty. Highlights include Pintxos, a Spanish tapas restaurant, Trattoria, an authentic Italian restaurant, and the classic Babbo American Grill.

5. Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos (Mexico)

On the tip of the Baja California Peninsula, the beachfront Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos is less than 10 minutes from the town of San José del Cabo and overlooks the Sea of Cortez.

Guest rooms are modern and comfortable, ranging from 348 square feet to just over 2,300 square feet. All rooms have some type of terrace or balcony, and some even have swim-up access from the pool.

There’s a daily rotation of activities, nightly live shows, a luxurious spa (treatments cost extra), and an oceanfront fitness center. Relax by one of the resort’s 4 pools, including an adults-only pool and a kid-friendly pool complete with a small waterpark. Speaking of kids, they love the KidZ Club where they can join other kids 4 to 12 for supervised activities, indoor games, and playtime on the outdoor playground’s jungle gym or motorized minicars.

The resort’s 7 restaurants serve everything from Spanish and Japanese to French and Italian. There’s also an open-air beach grill, an international buffet, and a poolside snack bar. Multiple bars throughout the property serve cocktails, coffees, smoothies, and more.

6. Hyatt Ziva Madeira (Portugal)

The Hyatt Ziva Madeira all-inclusive resort was recently rebranded from Dreams Madeira Resort, Spa & Marina in June 2026. In the Caniçal region on the island of Madeira, it’s now the first and only Hyatt Ziva property in Portugal.

This charming resort is not a cookie-cutter property but a unique complex that combines local culture with the ease of an all-inclusive vacation.

There are 366 guest rooms and suites, some of which offer panoramic views of the Atlantic. The resort features 4 pools, a private marina, a pool, a gym, 7 restaurants, and 24-hour-a-day room service. There’s also a private pebble beach with sun loungers and a natural swimming pool. Additionally, guests can enjoy year-round water activities and golf at one of the island’s 3 golf courses.

4. Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta (Mexico)

On Las Estacas Beach, Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta is a family-friendly resort where almost everything is included.

All 335 guest rooms and suites at Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta boast a gorgeous ocean or garden view as well as other perks like complimentary Wi-Fi and an in-room beverage station. Special room categories include suites with swim-up access and balconies with hot tubs.

There are 5 swimming pools, including one that’s just for adults and two just for kids. Guests can grab a drink at the swim-up bar then relax in the infinity hot tub. Fitness classes and beach games are offered daily, while live entertainment is on each night. The KidZ Club offers supervised daily activities including arts and crafts, swimming, games, and special events like a sea turtle release program.

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta offers an Italian trattoria, a traditional Mexican restaurant, and an Asian restaurant, in addition to the buffet and an open-air, beachfront restaurant. There are also plenty of bars and a coffee shop serving drinks and snacks all day.

6. Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall (Montego Bay, Jamaica)

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall is a Caribbean paradise in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Each of the 277 rooms and suites is spacious and modern, with almost 500 square feet of space in even the smallest rooms. Each room features a coffee maker, bathrobe and slippers, a stocked minibar, and a furnished terrace with views of the pool, garden, or ocean.

This beachfront resort boasts 2 large pools and 2 whirlpools along with a spa and fitness center. There are plenty of activities available to keep the whole family busy, including kayaking, snorkeling, beach volleyball, dance lessons, pool basketball, yoga classes, and more. There are also daily fitness classes and nightly live entertainment. The KidZ Club features a playground, a game room, and a dedicated teen lounge. There are plenty of supervised activities for kids 3 and older, including games, classes, arts and crafts, and beach sports.

There are 16 restaurants, bars, and lounges on the property — and everything is included. There’s everything from Italian and Asian cuisine to beachfront grills, a coffee bar, and even an English pub.

Hot Tip: Hyatt Ziva resorts don’t charge resort fees. When booking, the nightly price you see is the price you’ll pay. Just remember to include the correct number of people in your room, since the price increases if there are more than 2 people in a room.
