Wells Fargo is the newest entrant to the world of flexible transfer partner award programs. This is great news for those who hold a card that earns Wells Fargo Rewards, as the value of those rewards just became significantly more valuable for travel redemptions.

In this guide, we will teach you everything you need to know about the Wells Fargo transfer partners, including what your partner options are, how to transfer your points, how to earn more points, and more.

Wells Fargo Airline and Hotel Transfer Partners

With your Wells Fargo Rewards, you have 5 airline options to which you can transfer your points, all of which transfer at a 1:1 rate.

While the selection of airline transfer partners is small, having multiple transfer partners available can offer a lot of value.

There is just 1 hotel transfer partner, and your points transfer at a 1:2 rate, allowing you to stock up on Choice Privileges points quickly.

Additionally, you can transfer points in as small an increment as a single point. This is a welcome addition, as most flexible transfer programs require you to transfer points in 1,000-point increments, which can leave you with a small number of points left over, depending on your redemption amount.

Earn Potential for Wells Fargo Rewards

In order to take advantage of the Wells Fargo transfer partners, you’re going to want to build up a stash of Wells Fargo Rewards points first.

Presently, the 2 main ways to do that are by holding the Wells Fargo Autograph℠ Card or the Wells Fargo Autograph Journey℠ card, as not only do these 2 cards earn Wells Fargo Rewards, but they are the only 2 cards that give you access to the Wells Fargo transfer partners.

However, if you hold either or both of the 2 above cards, and you also hold a Wells Fargo card that earns cash rewards, like the Wells Fargo Active Cash® Card, you can convert your cash rewards to Wells Fargo Rewards, as well.

Redeeming Rewards Via Points Transfer

To transfer your Wells Fargo Rewards points, you must first log in to your account on the Wells Fargo website.

After you’ve logged in, navigate to Use Rewards, and then click Rewards Points Transfer.

From there, you’ll be able to click whether you want to transfer your points to one of the airline or hotel partners. Keep in mind that you need to link the loyalty account details of the program you want to transfer to to your Wells Fargo Rewards account.

Can You Combine Wells Fargo Rewards With Another Person?

Yes, as long as you and the person you are trying to combine points with both have a card that earns Wells Fargo Rewards, you can both combine your points into 1 account without any limits.

Other Ways To Redeem Rewards

In addition to the Wells Fargo transfer partners, you can also redeem your Wells Fargo Rewards points as cash-back, toward gift cards with select merchants, or through the Wells Fargo travel portal at a rate of 1 cent per point.

Final Thoughts

While there aren’t many Wells Fargo transfer partners at the moment, we expect that more will be added as time goes on. Either way, it is great to have another option for earning transferable flexible rewards.
