With the end of the year approaching, rewards members are furiously charting out their requalification strategy to keep their elite status for another year.
Hilton Hotels is making it a little easier for members to keep (or earn) Hilton Honors status with a new promotion.
Let’s take a look!
Earn Double Nights Through End of the Year
From now through the end of the year —December 31, 2022 — every Hilton night you complete will count towards 2 nights when you register for Hilton’s newest promotion.
You must be a registered Hilton Honors member to participate in the promotion, and this promotion is not combinable with any other offer.
You must register for the promotion at this link to be eligible.
Members will receive the double nights regardless of whether they checked in before the promotion period began or check out after the promotion period ended. The double nights will count towards Hilton Honors members’ 2022 night count and are eligible for rollover night credit.
Finally, there is no limit to how many double nights you may earn.
If you’re trying to get or keep Hilton Honors elite status, this could be a great way to get there, especially as the end of the year approaches.
If you need a reminder, Hilton has 3 levels of elite status. Each offers a progressively impressive collection of benefits and perks but also gets gradually challenging to earn the higher up you go.
You’ll need 4 stays, 10 nights, or 10,000 Hilton Honors base points to earn or keep Silver status. Gold status requires 20 stays, 40 nights, or 75,000 Hilton Honors base points. Finally, top-tier Diamond status requires 30 stays, 60 nights, or 120,000 Hilton Honors base points.
That means if you were already at 30 nights before the promotion, you would need just 15 more nights to qualify for Diamond status.
However, this promotion isn’t the only way to get status with the hotel. Several Hilton-branded credit cards offer complimentary elite status (up to Diamond status) that is valid as long as you hold the card. No minimum annual hotel stays or point-earning requirements are required.

Final Thoughts
Getting and keeping elite status isn’t easy, so this new Hilton promotion for double nights through the end of the year is a welcome offer. Whether you’re far away from earning Diamond status or need a few more nights to hit Gold, this promotion should make getting whatever status you’re interested in much easier.
