[Expired] Last Call To Use the $150 Dell Credit on Your Amex Business Platinum Card

Cardholders of The Business Platinum Card^® from American Express currently have access to up to $150 in Dell statement credits for U.S. purchases through December 31, 2025 (enrollment required). This credit doesn’t roll over, so if you don’t use it by the end of the year, you’ll lose it.

If you haven’t used it already, here’s how you can do so — and how you can help stack your purchase for extra rewards or savings.

How To Activate the Amex Dell Credit

The deadline to use your Amex Business Platinum card‘s Dell statement credit for the year is December 31, 2025. You can receive up to $150 in statement credits for U.S. purchases at Dell every calendar year just for having the card and using it to make purchases. In addition, after spending at least $5,000 on purchases at Dell, you get an additional $1,000 statement credit.

To be clear, you don’t necessarily need the transaction to finalize on your card by that date. As long as the purchase date for your transaction occurs on or before December 31, you should receive your credit. Note that American Express states that it can take 2 to 4 weeks to receive your statement credit, though it often posts much faster than this.

Your statement credit is valid only on purchases made directly with Dell Technologies or at dell.com. It isn’t valid on online purchases shipped outside of the U.S. or purchases from unauthorized resellers.

Before you can use your credit, you need to activate it. To do this, log into your account on the American Express website and click on the Benefits tab. From there, scroll down until you see the Shop Dell Technologies tile and click on it to enroll in the benefit.

How To Stack Your Dell Credit for Extra Rewards or Savings

There are 2 things you should be doing regularly when you make purchases using one of your American Express cards. The first is checking your Amex Offers for added deals that can save you even more money or earn additional Membership Rewards points (These offers are targeted and must be added to your card before you can use them.). There may be Amex Offers for Dell that would be perfectly timed for use in conjunction with your Dell statement credit of up to $150.

Another great resource to stack this deal is going through Rakuten. For those unfamiliar, Rakuten is a shopping portal that allows you to earn cash-back or Amex Membership Rewards or Bilt Rewards points (for those with a qualifying account) on your purchases.

Receiving up to $150 in Dell credits every year is one of many benefits of the Amex Business Platinum card and can go a long way in helping to offset the card’s $895 annual fee (rates & fees).
