Mandarin Oriental is one of the world’s swankiest and priciest hotel brands. Founded more than 50 years ago with its flagship Hong Kong property, The Mandarin, the chain now boasts 3 dozen hotels and 7 branded residence properties in 24 countries and territories, with an emphasis on luxury.

That means it shouldn’t be hard to meet the terms of the deal, even if the locations you can book are pretty limited. For instance, you could book a 2-night stay at the Mandarin Oriental Miami, for $370 per night (for a Deluxe Room) for dates in mid-August 2023. Before taxes, you’d pay about $740, and then you’d receive a $100 statement credit for meeting the terms of the Amex Offer.

And if you want to get out of the U.S., rates at the Mandarin Oriental in Geneva, Switzerland, for example, start from $820 per night for a Superior Room with a garden or city view for dates this winter.
