Avelo Airlines continues to make waves, with the airline announcing more expansion plans in the works.

The low-cost carrier is establishing a crew base at Charlotte Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (USA), launching 2 new routes from there, and beginning a new route to Nashville (BNA) from Central Florida.

Here’s what you need to know.

Avelo’s Big East Coast Expansion

Avelo Airlines announced that it would launch 2 new routes from Charlotte Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (USA). This spring, the airline would begin flying from Charlotte Concord (USA) to Nashville (BNA) and Daytona Beach (DAB). The new routes begin on April 4.

The new cities, which follow Avelo launching a crew base at Charlotte Concord, bring the total number of routes served by the airline to Nashville and Daytona Beach to 7. Avelo will fly the Boeing Next-Generation 737 on these routes.

Charlotte Concord is a relatively new city for Avelo, as it only launched flights there 10 months ago. The airport — not to be confused with Charlotte (CLT) — is a regional airport served by Avelo, Allegiant, and Sun Country.

Additionally, Avelo has officially started flights from Lakeland International Airport (LAL) in Central Florida to Nashville. The new routes will operate 2x weekly on Thursdays and Sundays. All told, Avelo now serves 7 destinations from Lakeland.

Like the Charlotte-area flights, Avelo will use its Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft.

Booking Avelo’s New Flights

These new routes are all available on AveloAir.com. Like other Avelo routes, these come with low introductory promotional fares. Flights from Charlotte Concord start at $40 each way, while flights from Lakeland start at $45.
