We hope you’ve been stocking up on your Alaska miles because we’ve found some extremely rare award space to Oceania on Fiji Airways. Whether you’re looking to spend some time on a beach vacation in the South Pacific or head onwards to New Zealand and Australia, this is one deal you don’t want to miss.

Let’s take a look.

Award Alert — Details

These awards are available via Alaska Airlines and operated by Fiji Airways. Fiji tends to be very stingy when it comes to releasing business class award space, which is why we ran to tell you when this award space opened up.

Alaska Airlines allows free stopovers on one-way award tickets, which means you can fly nonstop to Fiji, spend a few days there, and then travel to Sydney or Auckland at no extra cost.

  • Class: Business
  • Routes: Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), Dallas (DFW), Vancouver (YVR) to Fiji (NAN), Auckland (AKL), Sydney (SYD)
  • Dates: July and August 2025
  • Rates: As low as 75,000 miles one-way

To find these flights, you’ll want to head over to Alaska’s website and search using miles. Make sure to hit ‘Flexible Dates’ to get the award calendar. The best award availability comes from Vancouver (YVR), though each airport we listed has a good amount of dates available.

The best part about this flight is that not only can you visit Fiji for 75k miles, you can then head out in business class to the rest of Oceania without paying any more miles.

Considering it’s nearly impossible to find award space in business class to New Zealand and Australia, this represents a great deal. Plus, it’s a 2-for-1!

Best Ways To Book

You will want to book this flight using your Alaska Airlines miles. Although Alaska miles are historically hard to acquire thanks to a lack of transfer partners, there are still some options available for you:

Final Thoughts

We’re hyped to bring you this rare award alert for Fiji Airways flights in business class. Although it’ll cost you 75,000 miles to book, you can take advantage of the free stopover to spend a few days on the beach before heading to New Zealand or Australia.
