Bilt is back in the news for all the right reasons — it’s improving its product for its members yet again.
The program that lets you earn points when you pay your rent also has a co-branded credit card that earns bonus points in some great categories. And now, you can earn 3x points on fuel — including electric charging.
Let’s take a look at the details.
Earn 3x Points on Fuel
The Bilt World Elite Mastercard® Credit Card is a no-annual-fee card that already offers excellent rewards including 1x points per dollar spent on rent (up to 100,000 points per calendar year), 2x points per dollar spent on travel, 3x points per dollar spent on dining, and 1x points per dollar spent on other charges.
The credit card merchant category must be gas stations, automated fuel dispensers, and electric vehicle charging stations to earn bonus points
Bonus points are capped at 2,500 points ($1,250 net purchase)
You must (still) make at least 5 transactions per statement period to earn points
It may take up to 7 days for bonus points to post to your account
Hot Tip: Some gas or electric vehicle charging purchases at warehouse/membership clubs, grocery stores, car washes, auto repair stores, and superstores that sell gasoline or electric-vehicle charging may not trigger the promotion.
Bilt Rewards
Bilt Rewards continues to prove its worth in the points and miles game. With new transfer partners and a travel portal, members have plenty of options to use their points, in addition to the most unique way of earning them — by paying rent.
When it finally comes time to redeem points, transferring to one of Bilt’s transfer partners is a surefire way to get extra value.
If you can’t find a transfer partner that works for you, you can redeem your points for 1.25 cents each via the Bilt Rewards Travel Portal.
Final Thoughts
Fueling up your vehicle can get expensive, so you might as well earn some bonus points while paying for it, right?
Whether you’re pumping gas or charging your car’s battery, you’ll earn 3x points per dollar spent when you use your Bilt Card through October 31. This is just as rewarding as any of our favorite cards for gas station purchases.
Plus, Bilt Rewards points can be very valuable when maximized, so earning them at an accelerated rate is always a great idea.
