Big news this week from Choice Hotels, the chronically underrated hotel program that no one seems to talk about. Through November 18, 2022, we’ve seen different daily deals available only to Choice Privileges loyalty program members.
All days of deals are now live — and they’re pretty decent. Let’s check out the details.
Offer Details
Visit the Members Only Madness page for details on each of the daily deals. To qualify for each offer, you must be a Choice Privileges member, and registration is free.
The Day 1 promo includes a 5,000-point bonus of 3 or more consecutive nights:
- Stay 3 or more consecutive nights at any Choice Hotels property (except WoodSpring Suites)
- You can double-dip and utilize the “stay 2 nights and get 20% off” rate
- Register now, book by November 19, and stay by December 31, 2022
The Day 2 promo allows members to earn 1,000 bonus points when booking via the app:
- Use the Choice Hotels mobile app to book a stay by November 19 and earn 1,000 points
Hot Tip: Consider booking your stay(s) with the Choice Privileges® Visa Signature® Card to earn extra Choice Privileges points. Choice Privileges is also a transfer partner of Amex Membership Rewards, Capital One Miles, and Citi ThankYou Rewards.
The Day 3 promo allows members to save 25% when you redeem points for $25 gift cards:
- Save 25% when you redeem your Choice Privileges points for $25 gift cards from a variety of restaurants and retailers like The Home Depot, Bass Pro Shops, Best Buy, and Chili’s, starting with a minimum of 6,000 points
The Day 4 promo allows members to eat 2x and earn 750 bonus points:
- Eat 2x or more at participating Choice Privileges Eat and Earn restaurants, pay with your linked card, and earn 750 bonus points
The Day 5 promo allows members to get up to 40% bonus points on purchased points:
- Choose from 1 of 4 packages to receive up to 40% more points (through December 3, 2022)
Additional terms and conditions for each offer may apply.
Is It Worth It?
This is an easy question to answer: of course it’s worth it if you were already going to book a stay!
For the Day 1 and Day 2 offers, earning bonus points isn’t the most revolutionary thing we’ve ever seen, but getting a bonus on your booking never hurts. Great award stays start as low as 8,000 points, so by maximizing these Members Only Madness offers, you could be well on your way to a great redemption.
For Day 3, we value Choice Privileges points at 0.6 each, so with 6,000 points worth around $36, you may be better off holding onto your points for a hotel redemption.
For Day 4, it certainly can’t hurt to pick up some bonus points when dining, though 750 points won’t get you too far.
For Day 5, the offer of 40% bonus points is higher than the last offer of 35% and can present some good value at the right hotels.
Hot Tip: Check out our guides on the best ways to earn lots of Choice Privileges points and the best ways to redeem Choice Privileges points.
Final Thoughts
Choice Hotels’ Members Only Madness promotion is winding down, but you can earn 5,000 bonus points for a minimum 3-night stay, and even score another 1,000 bonus points if you book the whole stay through the Choice Hotels app.
The information regarding the Choice Privileges® Visa Signature® Card was independently collected by Upgraded Points and not provided nor reviewed by the issuer.
