It’s a new month, and with a new month comes a new round of transfer bonuses to take advantage of.

Today, we’ll examine this month’s newest transfer bonuses for the top transferable rewards programs so you can get the most out of your hard-earned points and miles.

Here’s everything you need to know!

New Transfer Bonuses for February 2025

Accor Live Limitless to Japan Airlines Mileage Bank

From March 1 to March 31, 2025, you can get a 20% transfer bonus in either direction between these programs. It’s rare that we find out about transfer bonuses so far in advance, so the planning aspect is nice, but the value isn’t great.

Typically, 4,000 Accor Live Limitless (ALL) points convert to 2,000 JAL Mileage Bank miles, but that becomes 2,400 miles during this bonus. In the other direction, you’ll typically turn 5,000 JAL miles into 1,000 ALL points or 10,000 JAL miles into 4,000 ALL points. During the transfer bonus, you’ll get 1,200 or 4,800 ALL points, respectively.

Given the uses of these programs and the values of their rewards, transfers from Accor to JAL may make sense but not the other way around.

Amex Membership Rewards to Avianca LifeMiles

Through February 28, 2025, you’ll receive a 15% bonus when transferring Amex Membership Rewards to Avianca. The elevated transfer rate is 1:1.15.

Avianca LifeMiles is a standout airline program — and it happens to be one of our favorites. Some of our favorite redemptions include:

  • New York (JFK) to Frankfurt (FRA) in Lufthansa first class for 130,000 LifeMiles
  • Boston (BOS) to Zurich (ZRH) in SWISS business class for 70,000 LifeMiles
  • Tokyo (HND) to Sydney (SYD) in ANA business class for 40,000 LifeMiles

Amex Membership Rewards to Hilton Honors

Through March 14, 2025, you’ll receive a 25% bonus when transferring Amex Membership Rewards to Hilton Honors. The elevated transfer rate is 1:2.5.

Transferring Amex points over to Hilton can make sense if you need to top off your account balance for a specific Hilton redemption or if you have a short, inexpensive stay.

Chase Ultimate Rewards to Marriott Bonvoy

If you send your Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Marriott Bonvoy, you’ll get a 50% transfer bonus through March 31, 2025. The elevated transfer ratio is 1:1.5.

While 50% sounds great, pause before you rush to transfer points. With Marriott’s dynamic pricing model, getting outsized value for your points is increasingly difficult. Consider that we value Chase points at 2 cents each but Marriott points at just 0.7 cents apiece. Even with a 50% transfer bonus, you’re trading 2 cents for 1.05 cents — losing nearly 50% of the value. This bonus really only makes sense if you’re a few points shy of a great redemption using Marriott points.

Chase Ultimate Rewards to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club

Through February 17, 2025, you’ll receive a 30% bonus when transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards to Virgin Atlantic. The elevated transfer rate is 1:1.3.

Hoping to visit Tokyo? ANA charges just 45,000 to 47,500 Virgin Points for a one-way business class ticket between the U.S. and Japan. These rates don’t factor in the 30% bonus, making this an incredible opportunity to fly one of the best business class products in the sky for a phenomenal rate — transferring just 35,000 or 37,000 points to enable these awards.

Citi ThankYou Points to Qatar Airways Privilege Club

Through March 15, 2025, you can transfer Citi ThankYou Points to Qatar Airways with a 20% bonus. That means 1 Citi ThankYou Point becomes 1.2 Avios.

Qatar Airways’ revered Qsuite business class becomes much more accessible during this transfer bonus. From the U.S. to Doha, Qatar, you’ll pay 70,000 Avios per person to fly in Qsuite, but you only need to transfer 59,000 ThankYou Points to fly one of the world’s best business class suites.

Final Thoughts

Earning transferable points is always a great idea since they’re so flexible when it comes time to book your trip. You can choose to book your hotel or flight through whichever program provides the best deal, transferring points once you’ve found something you like. Elevated transfer bonuses make transferable rewards even better because you’ll be able to use fewer points and get even more value out of your next award booking!

Remember that transfer bonuses are usually available just for a limited time, so if you’re interested in any of these offers, make sure you take advantage of them before the expiration date.
